Selena POV

I strutted into school. Everyone turned their heads. I flipped my dark brown hair over my shoulder. And winked my bright blue eyes at a few guys as I passed. So as I said everyone turned their heads, that is expect Annabeth Chase. Or as I like to call her Annabarf. Humph

She thinks she so cool not even paying attention to me. I mean come on I'm beautiful! You could see my flat chest underneath my blue crop top and my dark blue plaid mini skirt was so short you could almost see my butt! I admit that I get a fake tan but it looks real anyway, so no one cares.

I'm by far the most popular girl at school. Queen Bee. Ultra Elite. Whatever you want to call me just know that I'm the leader of this school. Now Annabarf stole all of my attention when she arrived here like a quarter into the school year. I offered her to join the "popular" people, like me. She declined. The nerve. Anyway, she started hanging out with the nerds so she stopped getting so much attention and it was turned back on me! Although, that didn't stop all the boys and even some girls from asking her out.

Annabeth POV

I can't believe it. Me, Annabeth Chase, forgot my textbook at home. I mean I was a little distracted this morning because I woke up late due to Percy staying over this week and we kinda stayed up late doing stuff.... Anyway I still couldn't believe I forgot it. Ugh.

The door opened and in walked Selena Bridgeford and her clones. They sat down in the row in front of me and my good friend Lily. Selena started talking about some new guy that showed up at the school today. Lily and I could care less so we continued with our own conversation. But, of course Selena wouldn't let us have our own conversation, she had to butt in.

"So Anniebarf." She drawled. "How's that fake boyfriend of yours doing."

"Doing just fine. Thanks for asking." I replied curtly.

She laughed at me. "Yes, your fake boyfriend. The one with black hair, green eyes, and not to mention a hot body. Pluh-lease. Annie he's to good to be true. And even if he was real why would he choose you."

I was ready to burst and Lily noticed so she touched my shoulder to calm me down. I put my head down and looked at my papers and started doodling.

"Selena look." One of Selena's clones, Charlene, hissed. "It's him."

I looked up but just in pity for the new kid. He didn't need Selena all over him on his first day.

She was already flirting with him at the door, blocking my view of his face. The other girls in the class were eyeing him and the boys gave him glares. This new kid seemed to be completely oblivious to the fact that Selena was flirting with him and held up a text book. With a jolt I realized that it was my textbook and it was Percy in the door way. I got up from my chair and walked over to them. I quickly snatched the book from Percy's hands. "Thank you Seaweed Brain." I turned to walk away.

"Wise girl? Wait I don't get a thank you kiss." He said.

I pivoted, looked him in the eye and smirked. Selena was standing there really confused. She didn't even have words.

Selena POV

Anniebarf smirked at him then walked right up to him and kissed him. I wasn't a peck, but it wasn't making out, just a kiss. She then pulled away and asked him why he was here.

"You left you textbook at home on you dresser. I saw it and remembered that you needed it for today so.... now I'm here. Returning your book." He said. voice was deep and sexy. I already loved him! And, that's when everything came crashing into me.

"Umm no, he is mine! You do not get to kiss him!" I screeched while pulling them apart. I turned and looked at the hot boy standing there. Dark windswept hair and mesmerizing sea green eyes, that were angry?

"I'm sorry but last time I checked, Annabeth is my fiancé." He replied getting mad.

"You're engaged." I practically screamed at them.

"Yes, now class is about to start. You should probably get moving Percy." Annabeth gave him a peck on the lips and ushered him out the door. Then turned around, sat down, paying no attention to the rest of us gaping at her, and opened her book.
