'우리 모두는 우리가 정복해야 할 우리 자신의 악마를 가지고있다.
'we all got our own demons we must conquer'

After a day or two of visiting Jennie after her surgery, Jimin and the crew went back to their normal routines which consist of Namjoon and the boys going back to work at the cafe while Indya chilled at the house by herself, Jungkook accompanying her here and there before she would call Yoongi up from work, him gladly taking up the offer to hang out with her than staying at his dumbass of a job any longer.

Which leaves Jimin sitting in his car, him anxiously fumbling with his phone as he waits infront of the small cafe that was far away from where he lived.

Jimin didn't tell anyone where he was going as he just walked out the house rather quickly which caused Indya and Yoongi to look at him questionable, Yoongi having a small idea of where he could of possibly gone but he shakes that thought away as he knew that Jimin wouldn't walk down that path once again.

But what Yoongi didn't know was that Jimin was doing just what he thought he was doing but it was gonna be different as he was finally gonna make the right decision this time.

Hearing the loud ding from his phone, he glanced down to see the text message that he has been waiting for the past ten minutes, him looking up to see the figure walking right infront of his car before entering into the mini family owned cafe. Jimin watches him through the windows of the cafe as he saw the figure talk to the hostess before she lead him to one of the empty tables by the window, him gladly taking a seat before the hostess walked off to get him a waiter to service him.

Locking his phone, Jimin takes a deep breathe before opening the door, him exiting out to close it behind him. He locks his car as he walks up to the entrance of the cafe, his eyes going straight to the booth as the figure didn't look up not once as if he was oblivious in the world.

Entering in, the hostess greeted the anxious boy with a smile, her asking him what seating he would prefer but he interrupted her as he said that he was with someone.

Nodding her head, she let him slide by as she assist the next set of customers that were standing behind him, Jimin's feet leading him to the window booth in the far corner of the cafe as his nerves went ballistic in his veins as he got closer and closer to the last person he wanted to talk to.

Feeling his presence, he couldn't help but smirk as he can sense the nervousness that Jimin's aura gave off while he slide on the other side of the booth, Jimin sitting infront of him with a blank face as he tries to cover up his anxiety in his eyes.

"So glad that you can finally join me this fine evening."

"I'm glad you accepted my invitation."

"Of course I would. Especially if it's from my most hard working dealer." Martin smiled as he removed his sunglasses from his face, Jimin looking into his brown eyes that held mischief and darkness in them.

"Well I did invite you to talk to you about something." Jimin says, him wiping the sweat off his hands on his pants as he looked at Martin with a firm look.

"You have my attention." Martin says as he leans back into his seat, him crossing his arms as that smile stayed painted on his lips which didn't help the unsettling feeling in Jimin's stomach as it only made it worse.

"Well I've been thinking about this for a while but I never got the courage to actually bring it up to you but after all the shit that has happened between my sister and this damn job, I just couldn't keep pushing it back any longer. Even though I've been working with you for quite some time and the experience was somewhat nerve wrecking and most likely fucked up my sight of the world for the rest of my life, I did somehow enjoyed that small fun moments I had with the crew even if it involved dealing drugs or killing people. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I-"

"You wanna quit don't you." Martin said, his response surprising Jimin as he didn't think that Martin would read his intentions that fast.

Jimin nods his head as he looks down at his hands, him avoiding Martin's stare as million of thoughts surrounded his mind, him not knowing what Martin is going to, the worse of the worse conclusions rising up Jimin's anxiety level. But hearing the sigh and the soft okay made Jimin quickly look at Martin to see the old man give him a sincere look in his eyes.

"What?"

"I guess I can let you go."

"Y-you aren't mad?"

"You've been in the business longer than I think you intended to be in it and the amount of times you could of quit right then and there and walk off, you didn't take up which made me question why this fragile boy that's too damn innocent for this life still doing here.

But I notice the determination you had in your eyes whenever you had to come in to do a mission that was way out of league of work but you still did it and i always wonder why you did until I came in one day to hear you telling Ruby about your sister. How you doing this for her to save up enough money to help her out and that's when I knew you weren't just some original kid that was trouble."

"You were a kid that was trying to do something right to help out your sister even if that meant putting your life on the line, wondering if you even come back home alive by the end of the night. But you showed me that you truly were the man of the job and I knew that even though this job would fuck you up mentally, you would still go out there in the world and be successful for yourself and the ones you love.

So son, I'm sorry for the tough shit I put you through as I wish I can go back in time and tell you no when you showed up at my doorstep but I'm glad that I brought you in to shape you up into the man you are now. So thank you for your service and your strong willing presence as you have become the best son I wished I had." Martin said, him sending Jimin a sincere smile that Jimin couldn't help but return.

Sliding out of the booth, Martin stands up from the table as he places down a ten dollar bill tip for the waiter to pick up once she comes back around to clean up. Looking down at the once innocent boy that grew into a mature man, Martin pats his shoulder, him proud of the boy.

"Make sure to keep protecting the ones you love and yourself and to never take shit from anyone." Jimin nods his head before rising up, him bringing his former boss and father like figure into a hug which surprises Martin.

"Thank you for everything you've done including being a father figure in my life. I really appreciate it a lot." Jimin says, Martin hugging the boy back before they break apart.

"Good luck son." Walking off, Martin exits the cafe with a proud father smile on his face as he wishes the boy the best of luck as he knows the boy would go far in life like he always knew he would.

Jimin watching him from the window as he appreciate everything that the old man did for him, him happy that he took up the dangerous job.
