Goodwill Games Girl (Dean Portman)

( Scarlet's POV) 

 " Dad must I attend the games" I asks my father whom created and runs the goodwill games. He just gave me the yes don't ask me again look. 

I sighed and said " What team am I staying with this time around"

He just looked up and said " Team USA. You will be known as Scarlet McKay daughter of Michele McKay the USA team tutor. They can not find out who you are. You are a scout. No one can find out that you are Scarlet Goodwill. We will tell them all at the end who you are."

I just nodded and got ready to head out to Minnesota with my " mom" for the trip. Ms. McKay is actually my aunt so I am okay with it

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In Minnesota ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 We both had gotten our stuff put into our hotel room before we meet up with Mr. Tibbles the team sponsor.

As I walked into the room he knew exactly who I was. Only a few people know who I actually am here and that's Coach Bombay, Mr. Tibbles and my aunt. He instantly said " Welcome and thank you for coming. Let's head into see the team".

We walked in and Mr. Tibbles said " Half of' em are ringers from various parts of the USA, the other half" but was cut off by my aunt saying " DUCK" and he said " That's right. The Ducks". 

Boom me and my aunt ducked and Mr.Tibbles got hit in the head with a hockey puck. 

Everyone came over as my aunt called " Hello? Mr.Tibbles? Mr.Tibbles? Mr.Tibbles can you hear me. Mr.Tibbles wake up"  

He slowly woke up and my aunt said " Oh, Mr.Tibbles are you alright?"

I placed an ice pack on his forehead before he said " oh, I'll have the cheese burger, fries and a chocolate shake please" 

I giggled and a few others laughed before my aunt said " I think he will be okay. We'll Keep an eye on him." 

I smiled. My aunt then said " Oh I'm sorry. He didn't have a change to introduce us. I'm Michele McKay their tutor and this is my daughter Scarlet".

Coach Bombay then introduced himself. 

Adam soon realized what my aunt said before saying " Who said we need a tutor?" and everyone agreed with him and said " Yeah. Really" and the biggest one in the black who was super attractive said " I don't need no school". 

The goalie said " Ah Ms.McKay we are America's team here so shouldn't we be concentrated on hockey. May I suggest optional attendance". 

Jesse and Averman said " I agree" and so did others too while I rolled my eyes. 

My aunt said " Well that's not a bad idea" and was cut off with " call me Goldberg" and my aunt continued with " Goldberg. Yes school will be optional" and the team cheered and my aunt said " however however if you did not attend you will be eligible to play"  

They all groaned. I giggled before I hear is " Okay practice is over. go get changed". 

Soon when I was alone I grabbed my skates out of my bag and connected my phone to speaker and hit play on my figure skating music. 

As I finished I heard clapping. My head shot towards the sound and Ken Wu the figure skater and the guy from earlier who I learned was named Dean Portman. Ken was smiling and Dean winked at me causing me too look at the ice and blush. 

I skated off the ice and they said " that was amazing how did you learn to do those moves".

I said " My mom and dad takes me to figure skating lessons 3 times a week back in LA".

Dean's face fell when I said " LA" as he knew that Iceland has been at the goodwill game for about a week before I came here. 

" Well we are having a pool party at Connie's house tonight would you like to come babe" he said

" Sure why not" I said smiling.

When I entered everyone froze. No one expected me there. Except Dean maybe. 

" What are you doing here. Your not on the team. Your just the teacher's daughter" Connie said kind of rudely.

" Dean invited me" I said looking at my feet.

" Well he shouldn't of. Thanks to you and your mother we are being forced to attend school when we should be focusing on hockey"
