Chapter 5: His True Color

Wine's POV

I am here at our school's library. I'm just reading some books for my debate tomorrow. I need to be ready because it is an assessment. I should master my stand in this topic.

"Wine, I don't understand my topic. Please help me. I am really nervous. Baka bumagsak ako mamaya."

I just look at him. This guy is really cute everytime that he is asking help from me. I just look at his book.

It looks like he is having a hard time. He is so handsome for me. Tall guy, moreno and very industrious even he doesn't like our degree program.

He is Cider, my bestfriend...

"I'll read your topic and I'll explain to you what I will understand," I said.

"Oh! Thank you so much! I really owe a lot from you, Wine! Kung wala ka baka nag-shift na ako. Parents ko lang naman may gusto na maging lawyer din ako," he said.

"No worries, I'm always willing to help. Isa pa, malapit na rin tayong maka-graduate. We are so close to becoming a lawyer," I said.

"Yeah... Thank you so much! After you read my topic, I'll treat you for lunch."

"Hmmm... Sorry, I will go home to my apartment. Maybe next time," I said.

He smiled like he is thinking about something. I don't like it.

"You really care for that guy? You do not know him. What if he is planning something against you?"

"Hey... Don't think like that. I just don't want him to try committing suicide again. I want him to value his life. That's all!" I said.

He is still not convinced. I can see it in his face. Hindi ko alam kung ano na naman ang iniisip niya.

He moved his face closer to mine...

"Describe me the way he looks."

Napakunot tuloy ang noo ko...

"Well, he looks so serious, always! He is completely terrifying but I can see him on the inside. He is just longing for love and acceptance," I said.

Alam niya kasi 'yung tungkol kay Whiskey. I told him everything.

Si Cider lang naman kasi ang nakakausap ko madalas kapag nandito ako sa University. Besides, he is my bestfriend.

"I mean, describe me his looks? Is he handsome or not?" He asked again.

"Well, he is! He looks like the leading man from Titanic. Who is it?" I asked him because I forgot the name.

"Leonardo DiCaprio?" Cider asked.

"Yes! He looks like the younger version of Leonardo Dicaprio. He is very handsome, so tall and his body is a bomb! He is very musculine!" I said.

"You saw his body?" He asked.

"Yeah! He doesn't have extra clothes before that's why I bought something for him."

He laughed a little...

"H-Hey! Why are you laughing?"

He moved his face again closer to mine. I am just confused.

"You like him?"

Nanlaki tuloy ang mga mata ko dahil sa tanong niya. Nahiya tuloy ako bigla.

"Hey! Hindi ah! Grabe ka naman! Cider, you are being so malicious! Gusto ko lang talagang tumulong. Kilala mo naman ako, ayokong nakakakita ng taong nahihirapan."
