When I woke Allison was already up, again. She seemed to be in a good mood so I decided to ask her why she acted differently in front of the other guardians. She tensed slightly then looked at me and said: " I acted the way I did b-because I don't trust them. When pitch knocked me out he didn't exactly knock me out. He put me in a dream state. I could feel and hear things. I felt cool hands picking me up. They were strong but gentle. For the first time in a long time I felt safe.  When you woke me up I felt your cool hands again I figured it was you who I felt safe with the last time. And besides, you already saw the fear in my eyes. There was no way I could hide it." I was stunned. I couldn't say anything, even though I knew I should. She looked so scared, like she didn't know what I'd think of her.  I finally got enough courage to ask her why she didn't feel safe for a long time. She told me about how in her past, everyone she trusted would turn on her.  She couldn't feel safe with her parents because of what they've done in the past. At the end of her story, she started to cry. I gave her a big squeeze and she returned it. We fell stayed like that until she stopped crying. We went to get breakfast, and then we returned to her room she was reading a book in French so she translated it to English on a piece of paper. It took until lunch to get half of it done. After lunch she continued translating. We ate dinner and then we went to bed.
