The young detective freezes in his spot when he notices that this is the same handwriting as the one he has been hiding in his back pocket which belongs to none other than the thief that he has met in the grocery store.

"Is everything okay?" Yoongi questions, and places his hand on his friend's shoulder.

"Y-Yes, everything's f-fine." Namjoon stutters, and decides to put the note in his back pocket, without letting anyone notice, but his friend grips his wrist, and makes him stop.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" Shocked, Yoongi whisper-yells, but still, the young detective puts it in his back pocket. "You are not allowed to take the evidence away from the crime scene."

"I am not taking the evidence away, I— I just want to solve the case, myself."

"This is illegal, Namjoon," Having a worried look on his face, Yoongi mentions, and looks around in order to make sure whether anyone is watching them or not. "Do you know what happens if chief deputy figures this out?"

"Yes, I do. I know what happens. I may lose my job, but at least, I know that I tried my best to solve the case by myself," Namjoon says, and wears a smile while trying to avoid the eye contact with his friend who is so worried. "Don't talk about this with anyone, okay?"

"You're insane!" He pushes the young detective, almost making him stumble back a few steps, and after that, he leaves the area.

"Where do you think you're going?" Namjoon shouts, but his friend keeps walking away without even wanting to turn back in order to see what the young man is talking about.

Letting out a sigh, Namjoon decides to leave there too, so he chooses to walk all the way home, because right now, he definitely needs some fresh air.

Nobody knows what has gotten into the young man's mind, but all of a sudden, he decides to change his direction, and head to the grocery store where he first met the thief.

After walking past a dark alley, he arrives at the grocery store, but he suddenly stops when a written message on the wall grabs his attention.

He thinks for a moment, thinking whether this is the right place he is at, thinking whether this is the right place the thief has wanted him to be

He thinks for a moment, thinking whether this is the right place he is at, thinking whether this is the right place the thief has wanted him to be.

Without paying more attention to the message on the wall, he enters the grocery store, and waits about half an hour in order to see the thief once again, if there is still a chance.

He leans against the wall, and closes his eyes tightly, wanting to rest up for a short time, but when someone pokes him on the head, he opens his eyes, quickly.

"Hello, stranger."
