"Just go away Roger." "Not until you listen to me!" Roger shortly followed after me to the room, but I was smarter than he was and locked the door. "I really think I've heard enough bullshit from you tonight." I sighed leaning over my opened suitcase on the bed. I was unpacking, but didn't even want to be here anymore. "I didn't ask them to be here today, Paul brought them thinking I would. He didn't know I had a girlfriend and I understand I should have told him-" "But you didn't." I spat back, walking over to the door and unlocking it.

"You don't tell anyone we're together and they all think you're fair game, but you aren't." I pulled the door open to see Roger hanging his head down and both his arms reached up and supporting himself on the door frame. "Are you embarrassed of me? Is that what this? I don't come from or fit this lifestyle, so you hide me away?" His head rose at me words, now aware that I had opened the door and he stood up straight. "That's not it, Memphis. Not at all."

"Then what is it then, hm?" I tilted my head at him and crossed my arms over my chest. "Memphis, you don't even see the light you've brought into my life since we've met, even when you were an ass to me, which I deserved." I chuckled lightly, trying to fight back a small smile that had started to find its way to my face. "I had been in a very dark place for the longest time, and it only grew darker when Queen started to become something. You pulled me out of it and you don't even realize that."

He moved closer to me, gently pulling at my arms until I uncrossed them and he held my small hands in his large ones. "I don't know what's going to happen when they find out, the fans, tabloids. And I'm petrified of what they'll say or do. You know how much it pains me when something happens to you, especially when it's my fault." "I can handle myself, Rog." He shook his head laughing at me. "I know you can, love. But I'd like to prevent it from ever coming to that." He brought my knuckles up to his lips and peppered them with soft kisses.

"Don't know what I'd do if someone dulled the sun in my life." "I won't be dulled that easily." I winked at him making him laugh. "I love you, Memphis." I couldn't stop my mouth from parting slightly at the words, a warmth slowly filling my cheeks as well as I looked up at him. "You love me?" He nodded and laughed, clearly amused at my reaction at the intimate moment we were sharing. "Say it again." He pulled me by my hands until I was tight in his chest. "I love you." His body vibrated when he said it. I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around his torso, trying to capture every detail of the moment so I could remember it forever. Roger loves me.

"I love you, too." I said, letting out a sigh and opening my eyes when he pulled me off his body. "You love me? Say it again." He teased me with my own words and I pushed his shoulder making him stumble backwards, clearly still tipsy from earlier. "What about those girls?" Roger rubbed the back of his neck, clearly thinking I would just drop the issue that wasn't yet resolved. "I didn't even notice they were there until you came in, honestly. Fred had us working on vocals all morning I hadn't left the booth until I came after you."

I nodded at him, knowing Freddie it was true. He was never satisfied with one recording of a song and there always had to be multiples of it. "Would you like to go to a wedding with me?" I furrowed my brows at the sudden change of topic, watching Roger as he stripped himself of his clothes and crawled into the bed. "A wedding? Who's getting married?" I dropped my pants down my legs, looking up to Roger for an answer but all I saw was hunger in his eyes. He eagerly patted the spot beside him, his hands instantly finding my bare legs under the sheets.

"I think you should go pants less more often." He hummed against my cheek before place a brisk kiss to it. "Going to tell me who's wedding it is?" I giggled as he traced his fingers along my thighs. "A family friend, requested my presence. I only agreed if I could bring a plus one." He had started nibbling on my ear lob and it was taking everything in me to keep my thoughts straight. "Lucky me to be your plus one." I smiled as his warm lips found my neck. "For the rest of my life." He pulled away, licking his lips before they hungerly met mine.
