The very first day of my new school,
And there I saw a fool.
The fool was you,
So this poem is all about you,
Who made my mind blew,
The day I saw you,
You saw me too,
Your eyes were blue,
And I had no clue,
This feeling was new,
Guess I was falling for you.
Our eyes met,
And we both were wet.
You looked like a maze,
The droplets were on your face,
And we were holding each other's gaze.
The rain was falling,
And a different feeling in my heart was crawling.
Suddenly there was a thunder,
Which made me wonder.
Sparks were erupting in me,
My heart was locked and you had the key.
I got goosebumps,
And my mind felt numb.
I was spell bound,
A new feeling was found,
And I was not on the ground.
I was on cloud nine,
And your eyes held mine.
The rain came to a halt,
And someone called.
With this the enchant broke,
I felt as if this all was just a joke.
And just like that we walked away,
Without giving our chances a weigh.
With our back to each other's side,
We both went to the opposite sides.
With our hopes cracked,
But as they say opposites attract.
