Finally, it was time for court to begin, the group went to their assigned places as the cuffed parents were escorted by the police to theirs. Of course, Jimin along with the others spoke their parts, leaving the jury to make the obvious decision. "Will the jury foreperson please stand? Has the jury reached a unanimous verdict?" The judge questioned. "yes," replied the man as he confirmed the answer to the Judge.
"The jury finds the defendant, guilty" Claimed the judge, "You, Mr. and Mrs. Jeon are sentenced to life in prison. As for you Mr. Park Jimin, you are no longer in custody of the Jeons and are old enough to be without a guardian, you also will be receiving the money from your biological parents. The jury is thanked and excused. Court is adjourned." And with that, the parents were taken away leaving the rest of the bunch there to finally feel at ease.
"we did it, god we finally did it" Jungkook whispered happily as he moved to wrap Jimin in his arms tightly. Jimin nodded, nuzzling his face into Jungkooks chest with such a beautiful smile placed on his lips. The other two joined them in the hug, even Yoongi, though he was forced by Taehyung. All in all, it was a happy moment shared, of course, they didn't know what was ahead of them in the future but they knew everything was gonna be finally okay.
Seeing as Jungkook and Jimin didn't have to worry about the parents at the house anymore, though they suffered terrible memories there, they decided to stay and live there to create better ones. They planned to get rid of all his mother and father's belongings and rid their remaining bad energy in the home. Jungkook, of course, planned to finish off his senior year of high school, but as of right now he just wanted to spend these joyful moments with Jimin.
-A bit later-
At the moment, Yoongi had arrived at a familiar cafe he hadn't been to in a while, in his mind he just prayed he'd get to see the sunshine he'd missed. The door opened with a small jingle, the black haired boy smiled smally to himself seeing the table that he first met Hoseok at was open, so he took a seat there and examined the small cafe in hopes of spotting the bright orange hair.
A small recognized laugh was heard snapping Yoongis head back forward to see Hoseok making his way to the table with such a smile on his face. "Wow, it's been a while" chuckled Hoseok, "Where have you been? You never answered my texts" He pouted a little.
"H-Hey, yeah I know.. I'm sorry, there was just a lot going on. But everything is okay now, I missed you, and so I decided to come to see you," Yoongi admitted, tugging shyly at the side of his beanie. Hoseok could only blush at the statement. "I also came here to ask you something," he continued, taking in a deep breath.
"O-oh what is it Yoongi?" Hoseok replied, taking a seat at the table now, the blush still painted on his cheeks as he began to feel slightly nervous.
"W-well, ever since I saw you here, I just felt..something different about you, your beautiful hair and your amazing smile was just so..mesmerizing and bright, and when we finally began talking I learned how silly and adorable your personality is and I couldn't help but smile every time I thought about you. You are just, pure sunshine~" Yoongi remarked, every word from his lips leaving with sincerity. "Now I know I'm a bit younger than you but I really feel something.. And I wanna ask you if you'll go on a date with me?" He said, slowly lifting his eyes to make contact with Hoseoks.
The orange haired boy took a moment to compose his flustered self, "I would love to go on a date with you~" Hoseok softly smiled, Yoongis lips couldn't help but smile happily in return.
-Back at the Jeons house-
It was later in the day now and Jimin and Jungkook were currently all snuggled up in Jungkooks bed, it had been a long day for the two. But finally, they could relax like this together without a single worry. "There is so much I can't wait to do with you, so much I can't wait to show you!" Jungkook exclaimed to the boy as they laid under the covers.
Jimin could only smile sweetly as happy tears began to fill his eyes, "I-I just feel so happy," softly spoke the younger.
"awh baby, don't cry~" Jungkook chuckled, gently kissing away the escaped tears. "this is only just the beginning to how happy you're gonna be now, I'll forever keep that beautiful smile on your face no matter what. We have so much time to grow and it is going to be so amazing." He claimed, pulling Jimin closer into his arms. "And then.. One day I'll marry you and continue to love you for the rest of my life." Jungkook spoke quietly to the smaller, slowly moving in to kiss the boy, the kiss was gentle and calming.
"I love you so much, Jungkook." Jimin spoke, his mind and body feeling so at ease in this moment, not even his stutter could interfere with the meaningful words.
"I love you, Jimin"
