Slur: Play two or more notes together in legato fashion.
Accent: Play a note louder than usual.
Staccato: Quickly release off the note.
Tenuto: Play note for slightly longer and/or slightly louder.
Strong Accent: Play a note even more louder than usual.
Staccatissimo: Even quicker Staccato. A superlative of Staccato.
Trill: Rapid alteration between two notes.
Arpregio: Playing each note of a chord slightly before the next note and holding them, instead of playing them at the same time.
Glissando: Sliding to a different note.
Mordent: Play the note, then the neighbour note above, then the original note.
Inverted Mordent: Play the note, then the neighbour note below, then the original note
Turn: Play the note, then the neighbour note above, then the original note, then the neighbour note below, then the next note.
Inverted Turn: Play the note, then the neighbour note below, then the original note, then the neighbour note above, then the next note.
