Dear Diary,
I'm sorry I didn't write yesterday but I was invited to the opera by Mon Mothna. I was quite surprised when she asked me saying that a little "girl time" would make me feel better. I assume after I missed that meeting, Bail suggested the whole thing to her as a way to keep me busy. It's nice that he cares so much about me. I've always thought of him like a second father to me.
Anyways, I would say that my second impression of Mon Mothna was much better than my first.
From what she said, it sounds like she really cares about her fellow senators and the well being of the galaxy as a whole. Although I still don't agree on some of her political views, but I think her motives are all for the good of the Republic.
No word from Anakin though. I'm beginning to really miss him. He hasn't been home in quite a while.
Well, Mon Mothna has invited me to her apartment for dinner tonight. I've got to go.
