Tyler's POV

"Hey hey hey!" I peaked around the corner to see the blonde haired girl I know all to well.

"Payton! Your back!" I exclaimed as I happily pulled her into a hug, "if you ever leave me for that long again, I will shave your hair. Bald. And I'm not joking."

She laughed as we pulled away, "I missed you too." I took this time to examine how different she looked. Her blonde hair looked lighter, her skin was a golden tan, and her blue eyes looked happier. Three months in Florida really did do her good.

"Is it just you working tonight?" She asked as she looked around the flower shop.

"Yeah, I'm closing tonight and tomorrow. I need the money." I say as I put a bouquet of flowers in the freezer.

"Why?"

"The twins birthday is in a few weeks, and me being the best big sister ever, I'm going to get them the things they have been asking for for months." Too bad the things they want is expensive, like very expensive.

"I missed the twins too. How are they?"

"Brats." I sighed as she rolled her eyes but smiled. "But anyways how was Florida? See any hotties?" I ask as I raise my eyebrows at her. Her cheeks turned a dark red and my eyes widened. "Oh my god! Tell me! Tell me all the nasty details." I excitedly said as I leaned on the counter.

"We met on the beach-"

"Obviously. What's his name." I think I was more excited for her than she was for herself.

"His name is-"

Just then the flower shop door flew open, like
Someone kicked it open, and hit the wall, hard, creating a hole. The sound of glass shattering echoed through the shop. Me and Payton quickly looked over to the entrance, only to see three tall figures all dressed in black, holding guns.

My heart stopped and fear rushed all through my body. They then looked right at me and Payton and pointed their guns at us.

"Don't move, don't scream. Do exactly as we say, or else we'll shoot you, without hesitation." His voice was deep, and cold. It sent shivers all throughout my body. But the scary thing is, you could tell by his voice he wasn't joking.

"You," another guy said as he pointed the gun at me, "Do you work here?" I nodded without hesitation. I mean I'm wearing a apron that has Woodoaks Flower Shop imprinted on it in italic. "Go to the cash register, open it, but the money in a bag, and hand it over." I looked at Payton, and she gave me a 'go do it' face.

I gave them a small nod and went to go turn around to do it, but a big BAM echoed through the flower shop, along with a high pitched scream from Payton. A bullet flew by my face, and punctured the wall in front of me, "Your not going alone sweetheart. You might run away." My eyes filled with tears and my whole body shook as I quietly sobbed. I almost got shot.

"I'll go with her, you two stay here with blonde." I recognized the voice from the guy who first talked to us. I turned around and saw him walking towards me. I let out a huge sigh of relief when I saw that Payton was okay. Her face was red as tears ran down her cheeks.
