Easter is about praising and enjoying our risen savior. They tortured, humiliated, and mistreated our Lord, they crucified Him. Then, He died on a friday, Good Friday because Jesus died for us so now, if we are saved we must only die once, rather than twice, but that isn't the end of His story. Jesus was resurrected, and so we do not worship a dead God. He lives, and we live as well.
