Me: "woah mum i didnt need such an expensive phone mum" i said gobsmacked holding the phone in my hand
Mum: " i know but the other phones were terrible so...we got you that one" she said cheerfully
Me: " aaww thanks mum" i said giving her a massive hug
Mum: " aww its okay cub now you better be going to school otherwise your gonna be late" she warned so i put the phone back on the kitchen table, picked up my bag and walked out the door.
A few minutes later, i checked my watch. I has 20 minutes to get to school. I started to run. Strangely, i knew my way around this woods i sort of remember something about these woods. But i couldnt auite put my finger on it. As soon as i stopped thinking about it, i was in school. Wow that was quick i swear like two minutes ago i just left the house. I mustve been thinking away to the faires a but then. I walked into the school grounds and everybody's eyes were on me. Freaks. I made no eye contact with anyone and went into the hell hole i call the school. A man came to greet me. Id say he was in his early forties he had a bit if a beard, greyish brownish hair, and blue eyes he wore a stripy shirt and brown trousers with a belt and shiny black shoes. When he first saw me there was a mask of confusion across his face.
Mr jeffries: "maddy.....where have you been" he said gobsmacked
Me: " umm whose maddy im keira and im new to the school, keira smith" i said slowly
Jeffries: " oh ha ha maddy um are you okay?" He asked concerned
Me: "im not maddy" i said getting annoyed
Jeffries: " oh right okay" he said holding his hands up in defeat "would you still like the tour of the school" he offered
Me: yes please
Jeffries: okay then
He showed me all around the school. People kept on staring at me, it was well weird. He only had to show me once. I was sitting in hus office when he got a call from someone, i dont know who because the voice coming through the phone was muffled. But it had something to do with me, because jeffries keot on looking down at his papers and then at me. He did it at least three times. When he finally hung up he gave me a sympathetic smile and stood up from his chair. He went to his filing cabnet and handed me a peice of paper. It was my lesson timetable.
Jeffries: "art, do you remember where it is??" He asked
Me: "yes"
Jeffries: "okay then you best be on your way" he said and gestured towards the door, i got up from my chair and walked out of the door.
I knocked on the door, not knowing what to expect. But before i could turn around and run away the door opened
"Oh you must be the new girl keira im miss bishops your art teacher" she said smiling and she stood out of the way of the door to let me in "please, do come in" i cautiously walked through the door and once again all eyes were on me, but people were murmuring things like:
'Oh my goodness maddy!'
'Wheres she been for the last 6 months'
'Oh SHES back'
I dont know who they are or who this MADDY girl is but im definitely not her. Maybe we just look alike but these people need to get there facts right
"No no class this is keira smith shes new to our school" miss bishop corrected "kiera go sit next to jimmy and the boys over there" she ordered and i did as i was told
"Did you hear about the brunette that put Odor Eaters in her shoes, she disappeared" said jimmy well thats offensive to brunettes so i looked at his hair. Black. Crap i didnt have one for that so i decided to go with something else instead
"Hey you got something on your chin" i said and when he checked i said "umm no the third one down" he made the funniest face ever when he heard the joke and fell for it so i decided to say another one
"Your so fat that when you haul ass, you make two trips" and i heard the people laugh around me. Jimmy got up from his seat and walked over to me, he grabbed my arm and dragged me over to the corner of the room.
"Right listen here i dont care who you think you are you talk to me like that again and ill cut you" he threatened and he slapped me round the face before leaving to go back to his seat. Half the class was watching and the teacher was nowhere to be seen. Some use that was. Jesus cant he take a joke? I looked behind me and saw a girl with ginger hair still staring at me, i gave her an expression like 'what the hell you looking at' and i grabbed my bag and stormed out of the room. As soon as i closed the doors i heard everybody laugh at me. Some day this turned out to be.
I was at my locker in the lunch hour when a boy and a girl came up to me. I looked up at them and the same girl who was staring at me earlier (the ginger one) gave me a tight hug, it was literally sucking the life force out of me. Feeling angry, i pushed her away.
"M-m-maddy" she stuttered a tear rolling down her face
"Oh my god for fuck sake my names not maddy its keira" i said and i slammed my locker door
"Maddy? Dont you remember us" asked the boy
"I havent even met you before in my life so how am i supposed to remember you" i snapped
"Rhydians going to be well pleased your back, when you left he started crying and he literally had a nervous breakdown, we were so worried werent we tom" she said and tom nodded his head
"Listen im sorry about your friend but im not her im keira smith and im not your friend i do not have a friend called rhydian, who is he anyway?" I asked
"He's your wolfblood boyfriend, your both wolfbloods" said tom furrowing his eyebrows "come on mads your scaring me now" right let me get this straight
"Okay so apparently im called maddy i have two wacko best friends who i dont even know and i have a wolfblood boyfriend and im somehow one aswell....wow you two are seriously messed up" i said taking a step back " what even is a wolfblood"
"You really dont remember this" asked the ginger girl
"No sorry just...please...leave me alone" i said and i ran off
