Rhydians POV
I knocked at the door. The rain was beating down on me, attacking my neck.
"Rhydian?" Asked Mrs smith "what are you doing here if Maddy sees you she'll--"
"We need to talk" I interrupted
"Come in but be quiet because Maddy's sleeping"
She let me in and I sat on the couch
"what seems to be the problem" she asked
"I need Maddy to remember me"
"Rhydian I told you--"
"No" I interrupted again
"Rhydian what's so important about her remembering you" asked Mrs Smith
"She hates me" I said tearing up
"Listen rhydian, like I said you're just going to have to wait"
"But I can't" I sobbed "I miss her"
"Oh rhydian" sighed Mrs Smith she sat next to me and placed her hand on back comfortingly "Im sure deep deep down she misses u to"
"Is it better to quietly miss someone than to let them know and get no response"
"I think so" said maddys mum rubbing my back, fresh tears fell from my face
"Theres got to be some way to get her back" i ssid looking up
"Rhydian ive already told you, and even if there was i have no idea how" she said sadly "i want her back to"
"I just hate missing her and not being able to do anything about it"
"Im sorry rhydian really i am, theres nothing i can do"She said " but hey guess whats tomorrow"
"What" i said miserably
"The full moon" That brought a smile to my face. It been a while since thats happened
"We need to tell maddy" I said
"Tell kiera what" interrupted maddy
Maddys pov
I cant believe rhydian let that happen to me, i thought he cared.
I woke up to the sound of mum talking to someone in the livingroom. i tucked my hair behind my ear and heard it was rhydian
Theres got to be some way to get her back" he said. It sounded as if hed been crying.
"Rhydian ive already told you, and even if there was i have no idea how" she said sadly "i want her back to"
"I just hate missing her and not being able to do anything about it"
"Im sorry rhydian really i am, theres nothing i can do"She said " but hey guess whats tomorrow"
"What" he said
"The full moon" i hears
"We need to tell maddy" he said
I walked down the stairs. Its time i got some answers
"Tell kiera what" i said standing infront of them and crossing my arms
"We have to tell her now" said rhydian
I heard my mum sigh as if she didnt want to tell me
"Fine" she started "you got seriously bullied at your last school, so bad that you threw yourself off a bridge and into the water, we managed to get you out but you suffered memory damage, your real name is maddy smith, we moved back here to give you a fresh start, rhydian shannon and tom were your friends"
"Hear that maddy, were your friends" said rhydian i could see something in his eyes, something he wasnt telling me
"Why didnt you tell me this before" i asked
"We wanted you to remember this on your own" she said "now you have school tomorrow so i suggest you go to bed" i reluctantly walked upstairs
Rhydians pov
Maddy walked upstairs to bed
"Ill show you out" she said walking me to the door
"Cant believe you lied to her, again." I mumbled just so she could hear
"Im not telling her and neither are you, she needs to figure this out for herself"she mumbled back as i walked out of the house. I heard her shut the door behind me, i really hope maddy wont get beaten up tomorrow. Jimmy has me to deal with
