When did you join Wattpad?

I joined wattpad around five years ago.

Did anyone prompt you to join Wattpad?

Sort of? I used to read books on quotev and one of my favorite authors said she would be continuing her book on wattpad. So I made an account just to finish her story but ironically never even looked it up on here. Hahah

How did it feel like when you posted your first story on Wattpad?

When I put my very first story up I was so excited. I checked how many readers I had constantly. I remembered losing my mind over getting fourteen reads. And I would squeal in excitement with every comment.

Who/What influenced your writing?

I would say the biggest influence to my work would be my love for books. Ever since I could read I've always loved it. I adored reading a story and completely forgetting the world around me and instead becoming immersed in what I was reading. I wanted to do the same for others. I wanted to share the magic books enchant me with.

What inspires you to write your stories?

My readers. Honestly I would probably not even remember my wattpad username or login at this point if it weren't for my amazing readers. Most of what I do is for them. I'm still passionate about it of course but I love making others happy.

What is your advice to new writers?

My advice to new writers is to never get discouraged or give up. Ever. Put excuses aside and put out your best work. Edit, revise, plan, rewrite if you need to. Writing isn't easy but if it's something you love you should never stop or give up. There will always be people out there who want to read what you have to offer.

What do you do when you have a Writer's Block?

Writers block is a horrible disease that causes some writers to abandon works all together. Do not let that happen. Some ways I combat mine is: stop worrying about what you need to write next. It doesn't even matter if you don't have the next part thought out. Some of my best ideas came to me at the exact moment I was writing a chapter. Another one that I looove, if you are a visual person like me you can make Pinterest boards for your characters or books in generals. Fill them with aesthetics and writing prompts and quotes. Whatever you like. Get inspiriation from the boards and add and go back to them.
