[ Komine ] Lumine x Kody

part 1

                                           Lumine's POV

I was awoken by the sun shining brightly against my eyelids. I groaned and went to turn around, but Instead of being comfortable with my back to The sun, I fell to The floor with a loud thud. The sudden pain in my stomach and nose caused me to yelp before groaning again, this time in pain. My bed was small, and I guess I slept to close to the edge of it, causing me to fall. What a way to start my day..

" I heard a thud, are you alright.......? " Aiden said and looked down at me with an unusual look, and almost.

" DID YOU JUST WAKE UP?! IT'S 1:00 PM!! " he barked. I let out a small squeak before covering my ears.

" Heh heh.. I'm kidding! It's really 1:00 PM though.. " he said with a wide smile and his hand behind his head. I groaned and removed my hands from over my ears and got up.

" Hey! Get back to work! " a sudden voice interrupted the silent atmosphere. I realized who it was almost immediately when a hand striked Aiden's shoulder. Sherry. She always had to do this because he always finds a way to slack off, though I can't name all of them like Sherry can. Heck, she could probably give you a full notebook of examples of how he slacks off.

Sherry and Aiden walked off, and I walked to the kitchen. I climbed up into the counter and went to grab a box of cereal when a voice interrupted my actions.

" Lumine? What are you doing on the counter? " the cold, monotone voice said. Kody's voice. I jumped slightly and fell off the counter and onto the cold floor with a small smack.

" Ahhhh.. I-I was getting some cereal and.. " I trailed off and moved my head to the side, avoiding eye contact, to afraid to admit that I was far way to short to reach it.

" Your short. Don't try to come up with some crappy excuse. " Kody said while stepping over me and grabbing the cereal box easily.

" Here. " he said bluntly while dropping the cereal box onto my stomach. I was going to say nothing about his little comment but I suddenly came up with something.

" I'm not short, your just tall.. " I said awkwardly while grabbing the cereal box of my stomach and getting up. He's just glared at me.

" I said no crappy excuses. Also, I'm average height. " he said while looking down at me. I looked to the side again, knowing he was right.

" well uh.. I'm just.. Fun sized sized.. " I said and I could hear his footsteps going right, into the living room.

" yeah, sure. If that's what you want to think, I don't care. It's not going to change the fact that your short. " he called and I watched him plop down on the couch, picking up a controller and turning on the console.

" can I play? " I asked, leaning on to couch from behind. I felt slightly tired, but I could manage.

" No. You suck. " he said. I sighed and propped by elbow on the top of the couch. I slightly rested my head on my hand and started to doze off.

                                            Kody's pov

It's been about 5 minutes since I told Lumine no. He has been silent. I was about to turn to Lumine to check if he was ok, but the sight before me made me wish I had not. He leaned over the couch, his arms hanging off the couch and his shirt slightly lifted as he had slid down the couch.

Suddenly, he shifted, causing himself to fall to the ground partially. All that touched the floor was his face and his body almost upside down on the couch, his feet dangling awkwardly in the air. He let out a sharp yelp and tried to move again. He fell completely as his legs flung foward, causing him to fall on his stomach, his face still pressed against the floor.

He lifted his head with a loud groan. Blood ran from his nose. No wonder. That was a pretty hard fall. I set my controller to the side and looked down at him. I slowly hand out my hand for him.

                                           Lumine's POV

Kody slowly held out his hand for me. My eyes widened. Maybe he really is warming up to me?

" Just take it, idiot. " he said in his usual monotone voice. I quickly grabbed it and he pulled me up. He suddenly started to walk off to the hallway area.

" W-Where are you going? " I asked nervously. I didn't want him to leave.

" Just shut up.. " he mumbled, but I could still hear him. He walked off into the halls, entering the bathroom and coming out with a box.

He opened the top and gave me a couple of tissues. I looked up at him, my head cocked to the side.

" your nose is bleeding. Put it against your nose until it stops bleeding. I don't need any blood on the floor. " he said and plopped down onto the couch yet again, ignoring what had just happened.
