Isabella's P.O.V.

*Two days later*

We had called the council gathering and all the Alphas came with their families, even my father. My mother, sister and brother were here too. I had barely seen them mostly due to me being busy and them avoiding me. Whenever I enter a room, they leave it. No matter, soon enough they can not avoid me. The actual 'gathering' was going to happen in five minutes. All the Alphas with their immediate families were put in a sound-proof room to actually discuss. It would be rather short. The plan was simple go in, annonce my father's treachery and arrest him. Without their leader, it would be easier to take out my ex-pack and the rogues working for them. I am worried for my sister. Obviously sensing my worries through our bond, Carson walks over to me and hugs me from behind. He whispers in my ear,

"Are you okay?" I do my best to smile before answering,

"Fine." He smirks at me,

"Liar." I sigh,

"Just worried about my sister." Carson turns me around and kisses me.

"She will be fine and all will go smoothly." I nod my head doubtfully. For some reason, I do not think that this meeting will be simple. Carson then raises his head and annonces to the rest of the room,

"The meeting will begin! Make your way to your assigned seats!" He did not speak very loud but thanks to supernatural hearing, everyone could hear him. I follow Carson to our seats together. I was about to sit down on my seat when he grabbed me and pulled me onto his lap. I blush, I should be used to his public displays of affection, but I am not. I look around the room and all the Alphas are displaying some sort of possessiveness towards their Luna. I roll my eyes. Men!

Once everyone is settled, it is Alex who starts the discussions. It had been agreed because of the fact that the Alpha of the Thunder Mane Pack, Arthur, was my deadbeat father. It wouldn't be appropriate to accuse him of something to start a war. People might say that it was a fake accusation, that it was for revenge. Alex declared,

"Alpha Carson and I had the council gather for some recent discoveries about the attempts on the lives of our Lunas." Several people gasp and bring their Lunas closer. I am not as embarrassed because now most of the Lunas are on their Alphas' laps to calm them.  Not Arthur though. Alex continues on,

"Luna Isabella had figured out that the one responsable is an Alpha in this very room and means to harm all the Lunas here." It might be a slight exaggeration, but it will make all the other Alphas more sympathetic to our cause. All the Alphas growl at the idea of their mate being harmed even Carson though not Arthur. Now more than ever I think he is behind everything. Alex lets everyone calm down before dropping the final bomb,

"This Alpha who degrades himself to work with rogues because of his ambition is none other than Alpha Arthur of the Thunder Mane Pack." The Alphas believe Alex immediately and shy away from Arthur, adopting a protective pose. Their families were their priorities. It was admirable to see. One of them even goes to threaten,

"What do you have to say for yourself Alpha Arthur? There is no escape from us now. You started a war that you cannot finish." Arthur slowly gets up from his seat and says,

"I can finish this one right now." This makes him confused,

"You are caught. There is no escape." Arthur smirks,

"I wouldn't be so sure if I were you." He turns to me and Carson yanks me behind him, protectively. Carson growls out,

"What do you want?" Arthur sighs dramatically,

"Well, I want to leave here." Carson chuckles,

"Fat chance."

"Not if your dearest mate cares for her sister." With that, Artur shoves my sister, Zoe (I do not know if I gave her another name before. If so please tell me) at me. I move forward and catch her. She cries out to me,

"He put a witch collar on me. If he doesn't leave, he'll kill me." I calm her down before looking at my traitorous father. I spit out,

"You don't even care for your own flesh and blood." I turn to my older brother, Zack. "And you, I thought you actually cared." Arthur smirks at me,

"Oh, he did care and protested. The same witch gave me an all so useful obedience spell. So for your sister, if I am within five miles of here in fifteen minutes, she'll die. Make your choice: get me or save your sister." I look at Carson, he mouths at me 'Your choice'. All the other Alphas want to kill him, but I cannot let my sister die. I say,

"Let him go." People look shocked around me, but obey my command. I add,

"But stop his Luna and son." At that, Carson smiles and Arthur looks upset. I smirk at him. "Don't you remember? You bargained for your life, not theirs. Make your choice: save your skin or theirs." He sneers at me,

"This isn't over," before running out. I am kind of shocked that he just left his soul mate and son. I mean this just shows how crazy and power hungry he is. One of the 'peaceful' Alphas told me angrily,

"What are you doing?" Before I even answer him, Carson is in front of me, defending me,

"Like you wouldn't do anything to save your family." I stand up and put my hand on top of Carson's to tell him that I could fight my own battles. I turn towards the challenging Alpha who seems to just realize who exactly he just insulted. I start,

"Well Alpha,-"  making it seem like an insult "-I was just saving my family or are you saying that to live you would sacrifice them too?" I take a step towards his Luna and three year old daughter. "If you had to make the choice would you save them or kill me?" I grab his daughter and cradle her in my arms. She relaxes against me, trusting me. I have a talent with children. The Alpha's face pales and he begs,

"Please don't hurt. I'll do anything." I gently put his daughter down who just hugs my leg. I smile at her and answer,

"Now, you understand my point of vue. Anyone else have any complaints?-" pause "-No, good." The Alpha's daughter won't leave my side to go back to her parents. I bend down and ask her,

"Why are you not going back to your mommy and daddy?" She looks at me and says so innocently,

"I like you." I smile,

"Your mommy is worried about you."

"You would not hurt me." It's funny that this little girl know my actual motives more than her parents. I am sure her dad would have attacked me if Carson was not an imposing presence behind me.

"How do you know?"

"I know." With that, she turns around and skips back to her parents. I stand back up and return to Carson. I announce to the assembles Alphas,

"This means war against the Alpha of the Thunder Mane pack and his rogues." They accept my statement, knowing I have the support of most of the packs. Then, I leave the room to go question my dearest mother and help my brother and sister.

I knew that this council meeting would not be simple.
