After both you and Betty left, Veronica and Kevin said their goodbye to the only boys left sitting at the table. Archie started to laugh under his breath,
"What?" Jughead questioned shutting his laptop,
Archie started to laugh a little harder, "Dude you should've seen the look on your face."
Jughead squinted his eyes, "What're you talking about?"
Archie gave Jughead a sly smile, "You like her."
Jughead's palms started to sweat, "Who?"
"Y/N/N? Every time she spoke you were deadass staring at her." Archie spoke,
"What am I supposed to do Arch? Look the other direction?" Jughead murmured glaring,
Archie put his hands up in surrender, "I'm just saying, it seems like you actually like someone for once."
Jughead crosses his arms leaning on the table, "So what if I do? She said she likes someone else."
Archie practically choked, "Uhh she likes you."
Jughead scoffed, "Don't be ridiculous."
Archie sighed picking up his bag, "Alright, suit yourself. I'll see you after school, library right?"
Jughead nodded, "Yeah, see you."

"I don't understand why he doesn't like me though, I know I'm not a Veronica or Cheryl but.." Betty ranted pacing back and forth in front of the sinks of the bathroom,
You shrugged, "It'd be easier for me to help you if you just told me who you liked, you know who I do."
Betty shook her head, "It's fine it's fine."
You sighed, "Okay, I'll text you."
Betty smiles softly in your direction as you left, Veronica entering the bathroom right after you left.
"Did you tell Jughead yet?" She gawked,
You froze, slowly backing up against the door nonchantly putting your ear up to it.
"Hush! And no, I don't know if I will like- Y/N likes him too." Betty whispered,
"I don't understand your guys' type but whatever. But Betty, she's had plenty of opportunities to tell him! She's just pushing it away, that doesn't me you shouldn't get a chance. Just because she started liking him last year doesn't mean she owns him." Veronica spoke,
Betty sighed, "Maybe you're right."
You felt your heart beating out of your chest, was she going to do it? You were no where near ready to confront Jughead on your feelings but now you just felt rushed to tell him. Maybe he did deserve Betty, hell shes more willing to talk to him about this.
The last bell of the day rang, and you were determined to get out of the building before seeing both Betty and Jughead.
On your way out, unfortunately you bumped into Jughead.
"Hey are we still on for Pop's after school?" He smiled,
You paused, "I, I'm sorry uhm plans changed."
Jughead smile disappeared, "Oh that's okay, raincheck?"
You nodded quickly before dashing out of the building, Jughead sighed turning around being met with Betty's face.
"Oh Hi." He spoke,
"Hey uh can we talk?" She spoke sweetly,
Jughead shrugged, "I don't see why not."
