-Lorraine- "ʏᴏυ'ʀᴇ ǫυιтᴇ ᴀ тᴀʟĸʏ ᴏɴᴇ, ᴀʀᴇɴ'т ʏᴏυ?"—

Night was coming in quickly and I was on
the edge of my— seat? Before I close my eyes from the exhaustion I was feeling, Sean came scurrying over with a plate in his hands.
"It ain't much, but it's what I talked Dutch into letting you have." The warm plate was set into my lap as Sean sat in front of me.
"Oh shoot! I'm sorry lass, forgot you ain't got any functioning hands."

I flashed him a sheepish smile and stared down to my food with tired eyes. A spoon was at the entry of my mouth and I opened wide, feeling the hot stew flooded my mouth perfectly.
"That's delicious—"

"Sean, thought we agreed you wasn't gonna be the one feeding the girl." Dutch scolded, crossing his arms and staring down to us.

"But why?"  Sean whined, staring up into Dutch's brown eyes with sadness and anger.

"I like you, Sean, but I don't trust you with her. Or at least by yourself." The same well built man from earlier comes stalking over, resting his hand on his gun as he neared us.

"Get to bed Sean." The mans husky voice ordered, a frown appearing on Sean and i's faces as he began to walk away.

"Now who gonna feed me? In case you forgot, my hands are tied." If I could, I would have my arms crossed and be huffing my way outta this camp.

"My pall Arthur here is gonna." Dutch shoved his thumb behind him, pointing to whom I suspect to be Arthur. Arthur rolled his eyes and i saw how he wanted to complain and whine to Dutch about this.

"Oh toughen up. Not like you got anything better to be doin'." I copy him and roll my eyes, feeling the hot stew start to burn my legs.

"Fine," Arthur sighs, slowly sitting down in front of me, placing the warm bowl onto his lap.
"What's your name?" Arthur questions, pushing a spoonful of soup into my mouth. "Or— I'm not supposed to be asking questions, sorry."

"My name is Lorraine, and my last name in a mystery, sir." Arthur chuckled and nods, stirring around the stew in his hands.
"If you don't mind me asking, why the hell am I here?"

"Hell if I know." He shrugs. "Says that someone came into our camp with the name of Allen and stole some supplies we needed and killed a couple of our men, and that someone owed us money. I think their name was— Lorraine."

"I ain't ever stolen nothing! I'm as pure as one can be. They tell you how they took me?" I question, forgetting about my soup.
Arthur shook his head and was intrigued.
"They was saying someone came in and shot his wife and daughter. Thought I'd help the poor bastard, but nah. This bastard wanted to kidnap me instead."

Arthur chuckled slightly and shoved more stew in my mouth. "Well, least you got to see your pal Sean."

"Yeah but in most likely gonna die once y'all get what you want outta me. Hell, the reason you want me I don't even have information about, wasn't even with those folks long before y'all came around. Only been a couple of days." I shook my head, remembering just who Allen was. "Allen, I know him though. I know how he thinks. We got real close, thought he was an interesting feller."

"Sure." Arthur nods, "quite interesting ain't he? Having a mindset like that."

"For sure. Heard he's killed almost everyone that stepped foot into our area, even nearly shot me the first day I was there. We'll just say his mind wonders a lot."

"Yup. You're quite a talky one, aren't you?"

"For sure. I'm frightened for my life so I'm making my best last moments." I state with a smile spreading across my face.

"I don't think Dutch is gonna kill you. Might get a little heated between the two of you, but if you truly don't know anything on your old friends, then he might send you off again." Arthur assured me, standing on his own two feet.

"Can I get a blanket or something? It's freezing out here, my balls are freezing off." I shudder as I ask, feeling all the warm stew start to settle in my stomach.

"I'll see what I can do." Arthur chuckled and walked away. "Stay put." He poked, a smirk falling onto his lips.
