I feel so relieved right now. I'm not carrying a 7 pounds 13-ounce baby but just watching Derek interact with the baby warms my heart.
"Hola, niña, soy tu Papi y lo haré para siempre jamás." he says to her. She opens her mouth and sticks her tongue out at him.
"Yeah" he says in a high-pitched baby voice.
Translation:

The nurse came in.
"Hello, new parents I'm just here to check on mommy". she said. After she said that Daenerys started to get a little fussy.
"She's hungry." I said to Derek. When I first breastfeed Daenerys I felt so connected to her.
Literally and figuratively.
Like this beautiful tiny human came out of me and now she is drinking from me. It was so beautiful.
Derek walked over to me with my Daenerys placed her in my arms. "Hey, little bean," I say to her. She looks up at me with her beautiful hazel-brown eyes. I pulled open my gown and attach my nipple to her mouth. As she is drinking the nurse took a look at the clipboard.
"Okay mommy, you will have to get stitches." she stated.
Oh shit.
Apparently, on my second push some ripped down there and now I got to get stitches. Dany finished eating I gently placed her on my shoulder and burped her.
"Okay, when do I have to get them." I ask her. "Umm probably this afternoon." she replied and she left the room.
"So how do you feel"? Derek asks me as he rolls the baby bed to my side.
"I'm great." I said to him.
I hear a light sound from Dany so I know that she is well fed and then place her in the baby bed. I looked up at him and he seems like he wants to say something.
"Do you wanna ask me something?"
"Since you're not pregnant anymore and I'm not saying that you weren't sexy when you were pregnant or that the sex we had weren't amazing either..." he rambled. Now I know where this conversation is going.
I smile a little to myself. "You wanna know when we're going to start having sex again." I finished for him. "Yeah." he said.
"Wow, is that all that guys think about. Sex". I said to him. I looked down at my baby to see that she's wide awake and yarning.
