"I wouldn't cheat on you..I don't remember what happened but I know I wouldn't have cheated.." I looked up at him feeling the tears sting my eyes "Then how did it"
"I don't know baby" he placed his hands on my cheeks and cupped them making me place my hands on his wrists "ok.. I'm calm" He let me go and I sniffled sitting down feeling weak

___ Daniel I grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge leaning back against the counter Watching the french toast cook, my eyes fixated on the pan, before I heard Maya whisper my name from the doorway "D-Daniel"
My head cocked to the left seeing her hand on her stomach "I-I think my water just broke" My eyes widened before I turned the stove off "Holy.. okay! Just breathe!"
She giggled a little then came me a look of death "Daniel, so help me god, I'm breathing!" She snapped Making me nod and lead her over to the couch helping her get her shoes on, I grabbed our coats and got her out to the car as quickly as possible
**** I stood by her as she munched on her ice chips, my heart was aching, but in the best way possible, I couldn't believe it, my kid.. our kid is coming..
Maya complained over and over about how she looked like crap, but every time, I shot her down.

"Its ok.." I kissed the back of her hand and took her ice chips, The nurse came in and smiled a little "so, you're about 5 cm dilated.." she stood by her bedside checking her IV,
"The time seems to be dragging, huh?" I joked, Maya scowled at me, The nurse laughed a bit "If you don't dilate past 5 cm.. we're going to have to discuss a C-Section.. well not me but your doctor" she smiled before leaving
Maya looked at me worriedly "Daniel, I-I can't do this, I can't" she said as the beeping of the loud machine got louder, I frowned "love, You can do it, you're so strong" She sniffled and Looked down "I-I" I lifted her chin and kissed her softly "you can do this" I said as I pulled back slowly.
"Don't pull away" she said placing her hand on the back of my neck pulling me in and kissing me again, I placed my hand on her arm gently and I moved my hand up and down slowly, she slowly moved her hand down to my waistband, my eyes widened as I drew back "Uh.. no, no" I shook my head grabbing her wrist, she looked sad. Like a puppy "Babe. Do not look at me like that" I sat down and went to grab her hand but she crossed her arms playfully "Hm" she looked away from me
I rolled my eyes and I heard the door click and the doctor appeared, he spoke in a deep voice "Ms..." he was about to open her file when she smiled "Oh!! Just call me Maya" she cooed, making me scoff knowing she was only doing that to bother me.
"I'm Daniel, her Boyfriend or Fiancé"
Maya parted her lips to say something but instead she reached for me "Daniel, D-Danny" her eyes closed, I immediately grabbed onto her hand "It's okay baby.."
"What are you feeling?" The doctor asked as he grabbed her other wrist feeling for her pulse "It hurts oh god"
The doctor left for what seemed like a second and came back with 5 nurses, the doctor lifted the blanket, his eyes widened "The baby is coming, we have to get her up to OR" he said waving his hand making the nurses push her out of the room, My fingers slipped from hers, another doctor stopped me from following
"W-Whats going on?" I asked nervously
"The baby is coming out feet first, it's nothing major, we have our best Doctors on it.. you just have to wait in the waiting room" I gave a small nod and left to the waiting room seeing Sarah
"Where is she?! Is she ok?" She rushed towards me, her hands now on my shoulders "she's fine, the baby is coming out feet firs-" she gasped and pushed me "Daniel! Oh my god! I'm an aunt" She got onto a chair and cleared her throat "excuse me! I am officially an aunt and this man! This man, is a daddy in many ways!!" Some clapped some gave her an odd look
I face palmed "Sarah." I said laughing "wait how did you even get here?"
"Me?" Joey said from behind me, I turned around seeing Joey, he looked me up and down then smirked, I looked at the floor feeling awkward
"Soo Daddy Daniel huh?" He smirked again, Sarah hit his chest "Thats Mayas man." She practically scolded him
I sat down sighing a little as I ran a hand through my hair, Sarah sat next to me
"You ok.?" She placed her hand on my shoulder "I think I fucked up, and Maya knows.. and I think she's gonna just forget about it" I looked at Sarah, her eyes now filled with worry
"Daniel? You can come back now" a nurse said softly with a smile, I stood up feeling my heart pound
I walked into the room seeing Maya holding him.. our son, She looked at me with the biggest smile, I felt the tears coming, and they came, tears fell as I stood beside them, the baby so small, so fragile looking, she started to hand him to me, I shook my head "Daniel" She said softly, I gently took him from her hands
