Double Dates & Ace

Start from the beginning

He let go of my hand and swatted my other hand that was punching him.

"Darling you were always so full of yourself." He stated with a smirk.

"Well I'm nowhere near you," I responded.

"Look who's talking." He retorted.

"Yeah, you," I grinned at him.

He shook his head and took my hand again, his eyes focused on the road, yet I could see the corners of his lips twitching.

I squeezed his hand amazed at how our hands were interlocked and how perfectly mine fit in his.

We rode in the comfortable silence for a couple of minutes and I couldn't help but study his features. I don't know how to describe him, I never was good at describing people. His eyes were green, not grass like as I told my friends, they're electrifying, hypnotizing, full of life, unlike my dull grey eyes. Then his hair, which I just noticed had a slight curl made me badly want to play with it. I wondered how it would have felt against my fingers. His face structure was impossibly perfected and his jawline was sharp, oh and his smile which would make any girl swoon. God has obviously put a lot of effort into him, it is undeniable that Derek is a fine piece of art.

"Wait a second." He gently pulled his hand away from mine and it was then that I noticed that as I was drooling over him we had arrived at a cute looking restaurant.

Derek opened the passenger side door, "My lady," he huskily called out for me as he held his hand out for me which I gladly took and could feel a blush forming at his sweet gesture and I peered down at my white sneakers as my heartbeat quickened.

He chuckled noticing my movement as he wrapped his arm around me leading me into the building.

It was beautiful and classy. The lights were dimmed, creating a welcoming and comfortable mood. We were warmly welcomed by good looking waiters who were dressed in a neatly pressed white button up shirts. At that moment I felt like a girl in a novel or movie, where she is surrounded by handsome looking boys. That is not good for my hormones. Soon enough one of the waiters had led us to our table.

My eyes immediately caught Bianca and Diego who were facing someone else familiar, but I couldn't quite identify as his back was facing me.

"You!? What are you doing here?" I inquired pointing at the guy facing my friends accusatively.

Ace smiled as he shrugged, "Decided I'll tag along."

I frowned looking at him suspiciously.

"So...what's up with the both of you being so touchy touchy?" Ace asked as he peered at the hand Derek possessively had around my waist. I totally forgot about it. I turned to see Bianca looking at Derek's hand deep in thought while Diego scowled at our close proximity.

I immediately detached myself from his touch as if my skin burned at the contact.

I bit my lips for being so careless as I sighed in defeat remembering that Derek does not belong to me.

I tried my best to push the thought away and pulled Bianca into a hug complimenting her dress.

Then I turned to Diego who brought the back of my hand to his lips and lingered there for a while as he looked at me '' Gorgeous." He muttered.

I gulped as I could practically feel the death glare oozing off of Derek making me immediately pull my hand from Diego's grasp.

Well, things cannot get any more awkward. I thought as I forced a smile to Diego.

***

I was wrong apparently things could get out of hand real fast.

I peered to my left to see Diego looking at me with his charming smile and then turned to my right where Derek had a scowl painted on his face as he shot a glare to Diego.

Let me explain the seriousness of the situation. After an uncomfortable dinner, the boys came up with the idea that we should go to a party much to my dismay.

We decided to take Derek's car and since Bianca was carsick, she was automatically given shotgun. Ace being Ace, decided that he will be driving Daisy (Derek's Lamborghini) that is of course after the green-eyed devil threatened my best friend, and I quote: "If she gets even the slightest scratch I will cut little junior Acey and shove it down your throat after I take out your eyeballs and feed it to the poor."

Which to of course I commented as I shook my head dramatically, "What did the poor people do to you to deserve such dire fate."

Of course Ace had to defend himself by saying,
"Junior Acey boy is not so little."

And from then I blocked whatever verbal diarrhea was coming out of his mouth.

Hence here I am seated right in the middle of Derek and Diego.

This is totally going to be a fun ride.
Note the sarcasm.
