"you okay Pete?" Peters mind was going crazy no. I'm not okay, I apparently met my soulmate but I don't know if it was y/n or the masked dude, and if its y/n then.. okay. breathe Pete.. breathe
"just fine"
Ned chuckled "no you're not. your voice went up when you said 'fine'. what's up? seriously"
"I uh..I met my soulmate"
"that's great!" Ned exclaimed
"but I have a problem"
"and that is?.."
"I met her while I was Spider-Man.. someone"
Peter couldn't tell Ned the person getting mugged was y/n, he'd go crazy
"--was getting mugged and I have no idea if it was the mugger or the person I saved"
"oh lets hope it wasn't the mugger.. oh, speaking of Spider-Man, how you gonna tell your soulmate that you are Spider-Man"
Peter scrunch his brows "I'm not?"
"you gotta tell her! not telling her would screw up your bond"
Peter bit his lip "that's the thing though Ned, i don't want a bond. with anyone like that at all. i mean I'm Spider-Man. I put my life on danger every single night. what if I get hurt, or worse.. die. then that person who was made for me would be...so sad or.. or if it were the other way around. what if she gets hurt or killed. that'd be on me" the frustrated boy sighed, finally letting go of what he felt about this whole soulmate thing to someone out loud felt. Good?
"you were made for someone Pete. and that someone would go through a lot just to be with you" Peter sighed again
"yeah.. hey, I'm gonna get some sleep. night Ned"

it's been a week. and Peter knew who his soulmate was, it wasn't the mugger, (thankfully) it was y/n, don't think she knows it's me, Peter hasn't even talked to her in person once. every time he see her, he avoid her, no matter how much that little voice in his head keeps yelling at him to go to her, take her into his arm and never let her go. he couldn't do this to her. I'm protecting both of us...or at least that's what he's telling himself
Harry and (y/n) went for lunch, leaving in a really nice black car.. she looks happy with him. that's.. that good right "Peter are you listening?"
"hmm?.. yeah, yeah what were you saying?"
"I said..."
"yeah okay cool. I'm gonna go.. for.. a swing"
"in the middle of the day?"
"mhm.. bye Ned."

Harry and y/n order their popcorn and drinks, Peter still had to listen in to find out what movie they're watching
"Harry why are we watching a horror? when you said movies I thought you meant maybe..I dunno a comedy" Harry laughed and made some joke about pennywise-- IT. they're watching IT. okay. cool I'll just go buy a ticket for it. before he got to the kiosk to buy a ticket, he saw Harry wrap his arm around her-- and she didn't him away! his blood boiled, and his legs began walking towards them before he can even tell them to, Peter groaned and ran to the washroom. God this is so stupid Peter! she doesn't know that I'm here soulmate and this is like.. a date? NO! no it can't be a date.. he decide to call Ned "hi Pete-"
"is y/n on a date? w-with Harry Osborn?" "what? how do you know that?.."
Peter sighed "well I..shesmysoulmate"
"WHAT"
"yeah..I uh figured out last week"
"y/n's band is stuck at 5 seconds.. you said you met her as Spider-Man.. oh my god this makes so much sense!.. HOLY SHIT Y/N ALMOST GOT MUGGED!" Ned exclaimed
"wait. What?"
"yeah.. you met her as SPIDER-MAN dude. maybe it's stuck because.. of the shock of being mugged, remind me to talk to her about that.. and the fact that her soulmate is Peter Parker! not Spider-Man"
"but we're the same people" Peter mumbled "she doesn't know that"
he sighed "i think we should keep it like that" Ned was quiet on the other end "are you CRAZY? Peter she's been waiting to meet you for so long! and you both are so out of it and so tired, you guys need to meet"
"okay.. okay, but you gotta give me time. I..I need to get over my fear of hurting her. I just.."
"I get it Pete. oh and y/n and Harry are on a date by the way"
Peter growled causing Ned to laugh
"I couldn't help it.. I gotta go. Movie"
"STALKER"
"shut up Ned"
