~Chapter 38~

"Do you like it?" He asked putting his hand behind his head, I couldn't even speak. "More than like it, Aizawa its perfect"I lifted it from the box carefully and handed it to him, "Can you put it on for me" he took it and blushed.

 "Yeah," He said casually as I lifted my short hair up so he could clasp it around my neck, after he had put it on I turned and his eyebrows flew up. 

"Does it look okay?" I ask, "Yeah... you look beautiful" he whispered the last part as if embarrassed to compliment me, our whole relationship was on an unspoken basis that he loved me. 

He had said he loved me once in a while, that's why when he said that it had stuck with me forever, he had called me beautiful. I hugged him and kissed him gently, "Why the infinity symbol?" I ask slightly curious. 

"Its stupid" he waved me off and I tilted my head, "no really, tell me" I begged and he finally caved. 

"Because... you have a time quirk and you get stuck in loops a lot. That when you were captured by villains you had been stuck in one for a year..." He paused and I bit my lip, "And..?" I wanted to hear him say something I so desperately craved him to say.

 "That no matter how long we are apart I will love you forever... that's why I would describe us as infinity..." He hated being open about his feelings so he was kind of stammering and pausing after each sentence. 

I felt my heart explode as I jumped on top of him and snuggled into his chest, "Damnit I wish I had caught that on film" I sighed breathing in his presence, "Why?" he asked annoyed. 

"Because you're never gonna say something that sappy again" I admitted kissing the tip of his nose and we stared into each other's eyes, "Tch".

(End flashback, the present time when she wakes up from passing out at the USJ)

6 hours after being rushed to the hospital, Aizawa is in the ICU and Rei became stable after surgery and was resting in a room. 

My eyes fluttered open and I saw a whiteboard across from where I was sleeping that had a smiley face beside a nurses name.

 I looked down to see an IV and a white blanket covering me, I had an oxygen mask on and my mind was foggy. 

I gently lifted the blanket off to see my stomach bandaged tightly, I pulled the sheet off the bed and it fell on the icy white tile flooring every hospital had. 

I looked at my hands to see the bruises from punching so many thugs, the sound of people chatting outside the door in the hallway was rather loud. 

The scent of the hospital was so sterile it made me nauseous, "ngh" I grunted in pain as I pressed the button on the bed to raise me up so I was sitting up. 

 I gently took off the oxygen mask instantly to gasp for air, I clutched my stomach and moved off the bed.

 I staggered but I grabbed onto the IV stand and wheeled it alongside me as my hospital gown swayed, my bare feet grew numb from the coldness of the floor. 

I opened the door and looked out slowly to see nurses talking amongst themselves, one of them eyed me and ran over, "Ma'am you shouldn't be out of bed" she touched my shoulder and my reflexes kicked in and I snatched her hand roughly. 

My face was just as surprised as her at that moment but I ignored it, "Aizawa" I wheezed out. 

"Ma'am, please" She tried turning me but I stood in place, "Where is... Aizawa" I could hear my heartbeat and an intense ringing in my ears. 

"Doctor!" The nurse called and a passing man in a white overcoat turned and was about to walk over but I snapped my fingers, the noises of hospital equipment stopped and so did the ringing in my ears.

 I held onto my stomach and leaned against the wall trying to find Aizawa, I went to the front desk and typed in his name.

 A room number popped up and I looked at the red bold letters "Critical Care". I walked faster to the room in which Aizawa was in, I felt dizzy and knew I had to unsnap. 

Before the other employees noticed me I had pressed the elevator button to the next floor, I stepped out of the elevator and scanned the area. 

I quickly went into the room numbered "203" and gently closed the door behind me, I heard the sound of an oxygen tank and more hospital equipment beeping.

 I wanted to cry but I choked my feelings down, I gently opened the curtain to see a bucket beside him with bloody bandages.

 He was completely covered in bandages, "My god..." I gripped onto my stomach even more tightly, I fell to my knees and stared at his comatose body.

 Tears finally flowed down my cheeks and dripped onto the floor, my voice was cracked and the drugs they had me on to keep the pain from knocking me unconscious again were making me feel even more emotional.

 "I'm so sorry Aizawa" I stared at the ground with only the face of Tomura and Nomu in mind, they had destroyed Aizawa piece by piece and now he may never see again.

 "I hate them" I seethed to myself, I heard the door open and a doctor with a chart walked in. 

"Miss?" He knelt down beside me and I looked up at him with wide eyes, "is he gonna be okay?" I blurted, "Are you Rei Nezu?" he avoided my question but I was so mentally drained I couldn't think straight.

 I nodded and he helped me up, "We've been looking for you, you shouldn't be out of bed yet. Your wounds aren't fully closed yet" He looked behind him and a couple nurses came in one with a wheelchair, "I can't leave him when he's like this" I cried out wiping my face because I couldn't see through all the tears. 

"Ma'am, I can assure you he will be just fine. Once you are fully healed we'll let you see him again okay?" The doctor was being so kind to me but I was thinking rationally, "Sir, we gave her a bunch of painkillers." the nurse stated reminding him that my mind wasn't what it normally was.

 "Right" He grabbed my shoulders and forced me into the wheelchair, I was about to snap and I felt a pain in my neck and I looked back to see a syringe, "W-" everything went blurry and I felt the familiar feeling of passing out.
