Camus X Clumsy!Reader

Camus breathed out a small chuckle that would have gone unnoticed by you if his hand had not been planted on your knee. It was an unusual sight, seeing him laugh, though small, it made you a little happier than you currently were at the moment.

"That is all you have worked yourself up about, dear?" he posed as an unanswered question. "Yes, I know how ungraceful you can be, but that should not stop me from wanting to spend time with you. Did I not ask you to be my significant other? I am sure I can take being embarrassed by you every once in a while if I am to spend the rest of my life with you."

The two nicknames he bestowed upon you, though one was quite unusual really, made turn your head back towards him, lips forming into a small smile that calmed Camus's own nerves of upsetting you.

"I guess your right," you admitted the childish behavior you had so easily exhibited. "Sorry if I worried you at all, I just would hate to ruin your reputation or image in any way."

Camus hummed at your apology but lightly scoffed about his public face. "No need to get restless about such trivial things," he said, his beautifully pale and lithe fingers trailing along your black leggings covering your legs, starting at your knee, to end up at your ankle. As he took off your shoe to uncover your cute (F/c) fuzzy socks and did the same with the other he continued, "Everyone requires me to keep up an image. In Quartet Night as an Idol, to Starish a perfect Senpai, in Permafrost for the Queen, a high ranking Knight. It may not seem like it, but it gets quite tiring. Being with you..," his words trailed a bit as he looked up at you, his head tilting the slightest bit to the left so his long shiny blond hair fell in front of his right eye. "I can truly relax and not worry about what others think of me. I only care about what you think of me."

"Ah, I..I see," you managed to breathe out, too overcome with surprise to utter your true feelings right then and there. He simply smiled at your speechlessness

He continued on with his task, sliding the floral white ice skates onto both of your feet. He secured both laces tight enough that it was enough to not slip off but loose enough that your feet were freely comfortable and wouldn't get too easily sore. But even if he did so you knew they wouldn't fall off so easily since he had ordered you a pair that was half a size below what you actually were. With your socks added inside them, it was a snug fit and it actually helped you feel better about not embarrassing yourself.

"How are they?" he asked you examining your feet for any imperfections whatsoever with the design. "I'll order a new pair if these are not to your liking."

You shook your head, a smile growing as you moved your feet idly up and down feeling how it was a perfect fit for you. "They're perfect, Camus. You always seem to know what works," you muse. Camus's heart warmed at your simple praise, watching you observe your new footwear.

Your fingers run from the tongue to the boot, over the heel, and to the blade. Careful to only skim over the edge of the blade and not the sharp bottom your hands stop at the weirdly shaped front positioned under the sole of the boot. "Though I am ashamed to say I have no idea what this is," you said gesturing to the front of it. "Is it important?"

Camus's eyes moved down seeing what you were wondering about, instantly knowing what you were talking about. As you bent over to get a closer look and he picked up your left foot to get a closer look you realized it had sawlike teeth. His thumb barely made contact with the teeth as they skimmed over the area.

"Toe picks. You have no need to worry about their function for they simply help jumps, spins, footwork, and overall added strength a skater needs to skate, but they come in handy. Be careful though, they are as sharp as the actual blade and maybe even more lethal. Be careful to not touch them."
