"A guy and a girl could be just friends, but at one point or another, they will fall for each other. Maybe temporary, maybe at the wrong time, maybe too late, or maybe forever."

"Daniel, I can't." my footsteps stopped staring at their large abode.
My hands were nestled together as the tall Seavey boy stood in front of me. He gave me a look of sympathy before gesturing to grab my hand as I slowly agreed. With our hands entangled to each other, he quickly rang the doorbell hearing small shouts from the indoors.
I wasn't afraid of his family, but I was afraid of how his family thought of me. I would be the same girl that broke little Dani's heart time after time— and here I am again. Shivers ran down my spin as the giggles from the indoors ran closer and closer towards our stance.
A smile hit Daniel's face seeing his mother on the other side of the door as it opened. Slowly, he let go of my hand to quickly embrace the short women. Slight mutters were exchanged between the duo as her glances shifted towards me. I knew what Daniel's mother looked like from photos, but it was unreal to see the features spiraling from Dani to her as well.
They shared the same chocolate hair along with the same eye shape. The windows of her eyes were painted brown as Daniel's eyes was paint blue, but both of their smiles were the same— contagious. I felt myself relax just under her glance having a smile spread upon my face.
"It's so nice to meet you, Mrs. Seavey," I held my hand out.
"Please, call me Keri!" I was pulled into an embrace.
It seemed sudden, but I quickly hugged the women back genuinely happy with her caring personality. Mrs. Seavey— or Keri, opened the door a little wider as Daniel and I shuffled in. Their home was much better than grand. It made sense— a successful family deserves a nice home. The walls hugged the decorations with warm nude colors acquainted with pops of white. I could hear laughter coming from the living room as I quickly spotted a teenage girl with another man.
"Tyler!" Dani rushed over to greet his older brother.
"Daniel!"
With the new family reunion, I got a better glance towards the blonde. Her hair was slightly curled holding up to her shoulders as she wore a white wrapped long sleeve top and black jeans. Her sense of style was beautiful beyond compare making me look down at my plain attire. She took this short moment to hop off the couch and walk closer and closer towards my stance.
"Sienna, hi!" she smiled broadly wrapping her arms around my figure.
"It's great to meet you," I answered back hugging her— slightly thrown off.
"I'm Anna," her teeth bright in a smile, "Daniel's talked a lot about you."
"He has?" my giggles replenishes the room looking towards his direction.
"You didn't know? A lot of the songs he writes are about y—"
"I think that dinner's ready!" he grabbed my wrist as his face hid some nervous chatter.
We'd only eaten moments ago, but it didn't matter— I didn't want to seem rude in their home. My steps lingered along the cold tile since my socks were thin. As I reached the table, I grabbed a seat between the Seavey boy and the blonde immediately spotting an older man setting down the cups. His facade brought out friendly appeal as he looked down at me flashing a somewhat familiar smile; a smile that reminded me of the two siblings sitting next to me.
