"W-Well.... you have a point too," sagot ng kaibigan ng lider ngunit halata sa mukha na medyo naaawa na rin ito sa bubuntot-buntot na babae.

The two guys attempted to leave. Pero dali-daling lumuhod si Miisha.

"Parang awa niyo! Tanggapin niyo na ako sa club niyo..."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ng magkaibigan. Napahawak sa gitna ng mga kilay niya si Jacob habang tumitingin sa nagmamakaawang babae. He sighed deeply as he sees her desperation.

"Stand-up," he commanded. "I can't be swayed by kneeling."

"Maawa ka, ayokong ma-expelled."

"If you think about it carefully, maybe you and this school are not fated for each other. This kind of university is not suited for a student with your type of personality. Kung sakali mang maexpelled ka, that's a good chance para makapaghanap ka ng hindi gaanong mahigpit na eskwelahan," pagmamatigas pa rin ni Jacob.

Hindi nakatiis ang kaibigan ni Jacob, lumapit ito kay Miisha at itinayo ang babae. "Jacob, why don't you give her a chance."

Huminga ng malalim ang lider. "If I'll take her in, shall I start accepting from now on lahat ng mga nagmamakaawang applikante?"

"Pero iba naman ito Jacob. Most applicants who beg you were female students who only want to get closer to you," katwiran ng kaibigan.

Pinagpagan ni Miisha ang kanyang mga tuhod habang nakatingin pa rin sa lider nang may maamong mukha.

"I won't have a chance to find another school after here. Hindi na ako pag-aaralin ng magulang ko kapag na-expelled pa ako dito. This is my last chance."

Natigilan si Jacob sa narinig. Ilang saglit siyang nag-isip. He stared intently at her face to weigh if she's lying or not.

"There's no such parents. Walang magulang na matitiis ang anak nila. They only want you to study well that's why they said that," di pa rin kumbinsidong sagot niya. "Let's go Kyle," sabay aya niya sa kaibigan.

"I'm not doing this because I still want to study or I'm afraid of my parents!" she exclaimed.

Muling napalingon si Jacob sa babae. Her face is showing different intensity of seriousness. Her eyes look teary and her hands closed into fists habang tuwid na tuwid ito sa pagkakatayo. She's not blinking while looking at him.

"It's because of my friend," napapalunok na sabi nito. " R-Remember that day we met at the karaoke bar? I was with my bestfriend then..." Her eyes gone reddish. "T-That night she was hit by a car in front of that place. She's still alive but her life may never be the same again. Marami siyang mga pangarap na maaring hindi na matupad. But there's one thing that we dream of doing together in the future at gusto kong tuparin ito para sa kanya. However, that dream will no longer come true kapag na-expel ako dito..."

Parehong napapalunok sina Jacob at Kyle habang nakatingin sa nagsasalita. Bakas sa mukha ng mga ito na naantig sa kanilang naririnig.
