18 : Brother ? 👀

Valarie POV

I rubbed my eyes as i there's a knock on the door . Lorenzo started moving i massage his back and he goes back to sleep .

I get up and walk to the door . I see Jacob with a worried face . "What's wrong ?" I ask "Denise she hasn't come out of the bathroom" he says . I nod and walk to her doom .

I knock om her door . "Denise its me , Valarie ." i say . No response . "Denise me and Jacob are worried about you . Let us in" i say there's movement and then Denise opens the door .

Her eyes are red . "Ohh Denise " i say pulling her in to hug . She starts sobbing in to my neck . Her legs start shaking so i sit with her on the floor . "What's wrong?" I hear Lorenzo say from the door . Jordyn and Andrew are behind him . Jordyn makes her way to us and hugs Denise when she finally lets go of me.

"You haven't told him?" I hear Andrew say . "I didn't want to tell him last night he was drunk." I said "Tell me what?" Asked Lorenzo "Can you guys tell him i need to stay with Denise." I say . They all nod and walk out .

"I want to meet up with him today . "said Denise "Are you sure about that?" I ask . She nods . Jordyn gets up and calls him . "He agreed we're meeting up at 5" she said . "Take a nap . I'll wake you up at three so you can get ready. Do you want me to call Jacob in ?" I ask . She nods so i pull her up and get her in to bed . "I'll go call him" i say kissing her head.

I walk out and see the guys in Lorenzo's room . "Hey Jacob , Denise wants you to go to her room . She is going back to sleep but she wants to meet up with him today . Jordyn already called and he agreed ." i said sighing "We'll go" said Lorenzo . "Okay ." i said not feeling like arguing .

"I'll be in Denises room" said Jacob getting out of the room . "You should go back to bed" said Andrew kissing my head . I nodded and he walked out .

That only left me and Lorenzo in the room . He kept starring at me . He patted the space next to him and i went to sit . I layed my head in his shoulder . "Last night at the police station i cried . The thing is i don't know if they were sad or happy tears"i said closing my eyes

"He hurt you Valarie . It's okay to cry out of happiness ." he said rubbing my arm . I open my eyes and tears start streaming down my face . Lorenzo grabbed my face "Why are you crying ?"he asked looking worried .

"He was the only thing i had closest to a family . He abused me and all but i feel like a bad person because i feel no empathy for him ." i said . Lorenzo kissed me . I stopped crying and kissed him back .

"You're a good person and don't you ever think the opposite of that . Now c'mon let's get in to bed ."he said . I layed down and he cuddled me . His breathing called me down and i shut my eyes going to sleep

I change in to my clothes i had picked out .

I woke Denise earlier so she could get ready . I walked out with Lorenzo holding my hand . At the bottom Denise was standing with her head on Jacob's shoulder .

Once she saw me she hugged me . "They have been so busy on me , How are you?" She asks . I hug her back "im fine"i say smiling . We walk out together . Jordyn sits at the front with Andrew driving . Me and Lorenzo were in the middle and Denise and Jacob were in the back .

When we got to the small coffee shop i saw Sebastian with what looked like a lawyer to me . "Who is that" asked Jordyn when we were at the door . We all sat in the long table .

"This is Diego he has Victoria's and Fabian Will's " he said . I nodded . 

"This will states that Valarie Cruz , Denise De La Rosa , and Sebastian De La Rosa should be preset . " said Diego looking at everyone . "We're all here" said Sebastian "Very well" he said getting another paper .

"Im going to read Victoria's first" Said Diego .

"Dear Sebastian and Denise , if you are reading this it means i passed away . I know you both have a lot of questions . Sebastian , i had you a year before i had Denise. Your father insisted on keeping you with the buisness but i did not want that for you . I ran away with you but your father found us . He took you away from me and allowed me only to visit you that's why i was always on business trips . Denise , ohh how much i despised and you know that . I had you with a guy i met at the bar . I got married with Fabian and he knew about the business . Me and Fabian were never home as we went to visit Sebastian well i went Fabian stayed at the hotel . That's all , ohh and Sebastian if you want to tell Denise go ahead ." said the man

I was squishing Denises hand . As a way of telling her im here .

"Valarie your father asked for you to read the letter alone but if you with for me to read it i will"said Diego . "You can read it out loud " i said sighing .

"Valarie , if you're reading this its because im dead . I want to start off by saying i never liked you . It was your fault Mila passed away .
Im not your biological father and your mom whom you thought was your mother wasn't either . Your biological mother was pregnant with you and Mila worked with her . She tried to escape her abusive husband and Mila was going to help her . Mila made it out at first with you . She gave me you and told me she would be back with your mother . They never came out but then there was an explosion and the whole house started burning killing your mother and Mila . Everytime i see you i see your mother . It was her fault . That's why i would always hit you"said Diego
