"Crap. Stay close to me." The man in the tie, Eric, leads us down the stairs, holding his gun in front of him. He knows how to use it, I can tell. I follow him, while Henry leads dad by the arm. An alarm goes off all of a sudden, and Eric curses. "What the hell is that?"
Henry's eyes widen. "That's the smoke detector!"
We move faster. We make it to the first floor, through the darkness and smoke that starts to build up. Halfway through the living room, I think I see somebody through the smoke.
