"I dunno, Li, but you can't let it bother you. They're just random girls we'll probably never see again and that I'm not at all interested in," Niall reiterates. Niall has long since gotten used to the obscenities, but it still hurts him inside when he sees how much it bothers Liam. He starts playing with the buttons on Liam's plaid shirt, subtly closing the distance between them. "I am, however, interested somebody else," Niall continues.

Liam raises an eyebrow, playing along with whatever Niall came up with. "Oh, are you really? Who is it? Do I know them?" Liam berates his boyfriend, chuckling softly. At the same time, though, he feels a twang of jealousy course through him when he considers the very real possibility that Niall could start falling for somebody else.

"Well it's this guy. He's one of my best mates and has been for years. He is the sweetest guy I know, as well as the best looking. Hmmm..." Niall trails off, giving Liam a chance to respond.

"Sorry, doesn't ring any bells."

Niall gives Liam a look that just screams 'bullshit.' "Oh really? I know you see him just about every day. Heck, you've known him longer than I have," the blonde boy states.

"Aww, you like Zayn?" Liam teases, hoping Niall doesn't catch onto the fact that he is constantly afraid that one of the other lads will steal Niall away from him.

"No, silly. I like you," Niall jokingly reprimands his boyfriend. He takes Liam's hands and looks up into the depths that are Liam's eyes.

Liam matches Niall's gaze, staring into the icy blue eyes he loves so much. "I like you, too, Nialler," he murmurs. "And I can't wait for the day that I can tell that to the world."

"Okay, lovebirds, it's time to get back to our flats," Louis tells Niall and Liam as he slams the door to the dressing room open, making the couple jump.

"Is our ride here, Lou? I don't want any of the lads heading outside until we know that we're not going to be trapped out there," Liam rants, taking on his usual role as 'Daddy Direction'.

Paul walks into the dressing room through the door Louis left open, Zayn and Harry following close behind. "I just got the call saying there is a limo waiting out back, but you're not heading home until after your meeting with management," Paul says.

"I thought that was tomorrow," Harry drawls.

"I did, too, but I just received to call telling me to bring you in," Paul tells the boys. "Now, I've got security lined up outside to keep the fans back, so take all your stuff and head to the limo."

The boys rush around, picking up phones and wallets and sweaters before meeting at the back door. "Come on, let's go," Liam orders the boys as he opens the door to hundreds of screaming fans. "STAY TOGETHER!" he calls out to his best mates, just loud enough for them to hear him over the noise. He reaches out and puts an arm around Niall's shoulder while they walk, smiling and waving at all the girls calling out phrases about the 'Niam' bromance.

"Hey, look at that sign," Niall mutters for Liam's ears only.

Liam looks to where his boyfriend is motioning only to see a sign saying, "NIAM FOREVER" that he could tell was handmade. It warmed his heart knowing there were fans who supported them as a couple even without realizing that they had actually been together for most of two years. "That's adorable," Liam finally replies.

They all keep walking, stopping occasionally to sign an autograph before they reach the limo. The driver is already standing there, holding the door open, motioning for them to hurry up and get in. The boys scramble into the vehicle and spread out across the seats, relaxing after a long day of practicing and performing.
