I could do nothing

The church, was decorated in white.
The smiles, full of delight.
Oh and the bride was the most beautiful woman in site, and she was ready to start the rest of her life.

I watched them walk down the aisle.
The room was filled with nothing but the biggest smiles.
Oh and I, I was happy for them, I was.
But no matter what I did it wasn't enough.

He said, "I will love you for the rest of my life and you will always be the best part."
And each word, was a knife to my heart.
Oh there was nothing, there was nothing I could do. What was I, what was I supposed to say?
I was losing the one that I love, as a tear rolled down my face.

Now the wedding is over, I watched as the rice hit the ground. I saw as they ran to their bed adventure. I fought so hard to not let my smile down.
The rings on their hands, oh the sight of them pained me. Watching her leave with that man, only reminded me of what could've been.

I could do nothing but sit there and let her go.
