"So how long have you two been a thing?" He asked her.
She looked up at him with a confused look on her face, like she had be caught doing something wrong.
"What do you mean?"
"You and Carter, you guys are dating right?"
"How can you tell?" She asked him.
"It's the way he does things now." He shrugged, "The way he smiles is different, he get's his work done faster to get out the door to see you. The way he looks at you and the way he talks to you. It's just the way that he does it. He looks at you like you're the sun, he talks to you like he has butterflies in his stomach and he still gets all nervous when he sees you."
She paused for a moment to look down at her feet, then back up at him.
"Is it that obvious?"
"Yes, because he loves you."
