chapter two

David was sitting on his couch, scrolling through his phone absentmindedly. He decided to take a look at his notifications and raised an eyebrow once he saw that a verified user had recently followed him. He opened up her page and instantly realized this was the girl Matt had been talking about for weeks. David smiled to himself as he followed her, taking a look at her feed.

"What are you smiling about?" Jason wondered, playing with Trisha's hair absentmindedly. 

"Oh, I know that smile. That's a girl smile." Trisha said excitedly, clapping her hands together.

"It is not a girl smile." David rolled his eyes, shifting his position on the couch and turning his back to them. 

Trisha smirked, standing from the couch and snatching his phone from his hands.

"Hey!"

"Wow, this girl is gorgeous. Why does she look so familiar?"

"Let me see that," Jason said, reaching for the phone as Trisha handed it to him.

"Oh, this is that girl that Matt's obsessed with right? He made us watch like four of her videos the other day."

David jumped up from the couch, grabbing his phone back and walking to his room. Trisha and Jason laughed loudly, loving any opportunity they had to mess with him because he constantly did it to them. David crashed down onto his bed, opening his laptop and going onto Youtube. That's when he typed in the name that he didn't know would affect him as much as it would.

"What do you mean he followed you? That's so unfair! You didn't even know about his existence until a few hours ago!" Marcia complained, shoving Sophia playfully.

"To be fair, I knew about him. I just didn't watch his videos." Sophia shrugged, laughing as Apollo playfully chewed on her fingers.

"Okay, make it up to me and collab with him so I can meet him."

"Deadass?" Sophia challenged, raising an eyebrow with a smirk.

"You wouldn't."

"I so fucking would and you know it."

"Soph, do not act a fool. He's really fucking famous." Marcia said, shaking her head.

"Yeah, Marcie? Yet he just followed me."

"Shut the fuck up! I literally hate you so much."

Sophia smirked, clicking the little blue envelope and typing quickly. Marcia screamed as she watched her, clutching the pillow to her chest.

"And...sent!"

It only took a few seconds for her phone to ring in response.

sophia: omg hey david! i've been watching your videos for the past few hours. thanks for the follow.

david: That's funny cause i've been watching yours

sophia: no fuckin wayyyy lmfao

david: Deadass

sophia: guess great minds think alike

david: Would you wanna be in a vlog? I wanna surprise my friend matt. He's in love with you

sophia: is he really? that's so funny. 100% down

david: Are you free tomorrow?

sophia: yeah. want me to go over?

david: Yes. I'll text you the address. What's your number?

Sophia stared down at her phone in shock. That had all happened way faster than she was anticipating. She didn't even have to ask him to collab because he had beat her to it. She sent him her number and instantly received the address from him followed by a quick "see you tomorrow" and a winking emoji.

"Marcie, I'm gonna be in David's Vlog."
