"SPEW?" Ron asked incredulously as he and Hermione sat by the fire in the Gryffindor common room the following evening.

Liana, who had busied herself with her charms homework in a desperate attempt to stop her mind wandering to Harry or Grey, threw her quill down at long last.

"Spew? Who vomited?" She commented, wrinkling her nose in distaste. Ron snickered and cleared space on the sofa next to him for Liana to cross from the table and collapse next to him, abandoning her unfinished homework on the table.

"No one vomited Liana-" Hermione rolled her eyes in exasperation, "and where's Harry?" She also pointed out.

Liana furrowed her brow and looked to her clasped hands in her lap guiltily. She chewed the inside of her cheek in frustration. Every time someone brought up Harry it reminded her of the fact she hadn't spoken to him or her brother for days. She closed her blue eyes and massaged her forehead slowly, trying not to think about either of them.

"Harry's at dinner I think, he's sitting with Dean and Seamus," Ron tried to sound casual, but he couldn't hide the rather disappointed smile that crept onto his freckled face. He missed his best friend hanging out with them as normal.

Liana groaned loudly and bent over double as she caught sight of Ron's badly covered up miserable expression. She knew her being there was stopping Harry joining Ron and Hermione.

Liana stood up from the sofa and slumped back to the table where she had sat at with her homework and with a firm thud she flung her head down onto the table in utter hopelessness.

"So what is spew?" Asked Ron finally, ignoring Liana's constant banging of her head against the table.

"It's a organisation I put together," Hermione seemed to swell with pride. From beneath her seat she pulled out a cardboard box filled with rattling badges.

"And it's S-P-E-W not spew," she added impatiently with a eye roll. "S-P-E-W stands for the society for the protection for elfish welfare," she told Ron, handing him a badge officially.

She turned to hand Liana one but she just gave Hermione a look and threw her head back down on the table again, causing some startled first years around them to topple out of their seats. So Hermione just placed the badge in front of her instead.

"Liana?" Hermione questioned , biting her lip to stop her laughing at the poor girl

"Yep?" Liana replied, surprisingly calm now as she raised her head from the table, a reddish patch forming on her forehead.

"You'll be in charge of advertising, so promoting our club. Ron you'll be treasurer and Harry can be scribe, " Hermione continued proudly.

Ron instantly sighed and began to try and explain for the umpteenth time to Hermione that most house elves liked their work and Dobby was just a bit of a loose cannon. Liana took this time to fasten her badge to her robes and pull out a clean piece of parchment, but this time for a different reason than homework.
