Boruto : the future

A new mission...

Boruto and Sarada were asleep in each other's arms, just a few hours ago Boruto was going to leave thinking Sarada would not forgive him, but she stopped him at the front door to make him stay, returning to their room they talked about where Boruto disappeared of to after everything was cleared out the couple tried to get some sleep
The couple were asleep where Sarada had her arm around Boruto and her head on his shoulder, the door opens and from behind the dark oak wood door came in yumi, not expecting her father to be asleep with her mother she climbed into bed and hugged the person she was supposing to be her mama, finding her mother's neck to be wider she thought she looked at who she was hugging and was surprised to find her father
She was in a state of shock for a moment until she snapped out of her trance and hugged her father
Missing the warmth of her father she stayed with her arms around her fathers neck and not soon after sleep claimed her once again
And not soon after Boruto woke up, he felt a weight on his chest and another on his shoulder, looking at his shoulder the women he so nearly left was there, her head on his shoulder and softly snoring away a smile made its way to his face, he pulled her closer and wrapped an arm around her to which she responded by intertwining their legs and putting an arm on his chest adding to the weight on his chest
He then looked down at his chest, on his chest was his little angel, her little arms thrown around his neck and her soft but warm breath felt on his neck
This was a moment that he had dreamt of, one that he would have lost if the woman in his arms had not stopped him, thinking off how lucky he was: a lone tear escaped the side of his eye
Putting his arm around them he hugged them gently and whispered "I love you...so much", and closed his eyes

The sun was high in the sky and the mother and daughter were in the kitchen making brunch,
"Mama?" Said Yumi
"Yes sweetheart?" Answered Sarada without turning from the pan of chicken she was menereting over the flame
"When did papa come home?" Asked Yumi
"Well sweetie, your papa was there when I woke up this morning so I don't know when papa came" Replied Sarada
Sighing Yumi Said "ok"
The kitchen was quiet except for the sound of the food being plated and Yumi humming a tune

The table was set, both Sarada and Yumi sat down and waited for Boruto
Sarada stood up and walked over to the stairs and yelled "Anata! The foods ready come eat before it gets cold!" And then Boruto's voice can be heard yelling back "Hime start with out me!"
Shaking her head Sarada began walking up the stairs, she walked over to hard wood floor and opened the bedroom door, A puddle of blood was on the floor, and then a trail off floor towards the toilet where Boruto was vomiting blood
Sarada quickly ran towards Boruto and began rubbing his back, she was panicking and if she was going to do any medical ninjutsu then she will have to be calm, Sarada kept rubbing his back hoping to give the blond some relief, the crimson liquid the the blood was expelling got a slight green colour
"Bile!" Screamed Saradas medical Knowledge
Boruto not feeling anymore in his throat turned to look at Sarada and said "Hime, I told you stop worrying about me and go eat with Yumi, I'm fine" smiling, a tear escaped her eyes seeing her fiancé so weak and in pain but even in that state trying to comfort her this made her feel..useless
With his body still weak Boruto got up and helped Sarada to her feet and began leading her down the stairs and to the dinner table where Yumi not being able to take the hunger anymore was stuffing her face with the spicy chicken and white rice with some salad, leaving her side Boruto walked over to a chair and pulled it out
Sarada did not move from her spot, Boruto getting worried walked over to her and lifted her chin as saw a tears running down her face
Boruto was slightly startled for a few seconds before relaxing before realising what was going through her mind he smiled and with his thumb dried the tear before saying "Hime I'm alright aren't I? So please stop crying? And please blame your self for any of this..."
Now it was Sarada's turn to be shocked, she opens her mouth to say something but no words can out of her mouth, she closed her eyes and put her hand in Borutos hand leaning into his touch
"Yea ok..." Replied Sarada, Boruto was about to lean in and kiss her when he remembered Yumi was their watching them so he refrains from doing so
Sarada let go of Boruto's hand and sat down on the chair which Boruto pushes closer to the table walking to the central chair Boruto also began eating

The sun had sat and Boruto and his little family were in the village for some shopping, Boruto was walking next to Sarada with Yumi in his arms while Sarada was clinging to Boruto's arm and glaring at any girl who even dared to look at Boruto which Boruto found funny, Boruto snickered ever so often when she stared at some girl and the girl stared back at her and Sarada would be the first one to break the stare
"What's so funny? Anata~" Asked Sarada hearing Boruto snicker, her grip going from a loose grip to a bone breaking grip and the fact that he had not fully recovered from the blood he lost as vomit was not helping so Boruto Said "I just find it cute that you basically have my heart in your hand and your glaring at every girl that look at me as if we just got together a few days ago"  hearing this Sarada's grip loosened and she leaned into his arm and said "I nearly lost you last night so I'm not taking any chances of losing you" sadness clear in voice
Hearing made Boruto's heart ache, because he knew that he won't be there for her in he near future
Pushing the thought of he back of his mind he smiled and began trying to enjoy the time he had left with Sarada

Both the Uzumaki and Uchiha families where in the Uzumaki living room talking and drinking tea
"Boruto, how are thinks between you and Sarada?" Asked Sakura hearing abt the lovers quarrel the other day
"We're both fine. The fight that we had has been settled and but behind us" Said Boruto talking Sarada's hand and giving a gentle squeeze
The family of both were glad that there was no anger in the relationship now, But Naruto has to break the happy mood
"Boruto I know you just came back from a mission just last night but I have another mission..." Said Naruto, Boruto nodded telling his father that he understood, Naruto continued with "...This ones a long term one, two years max and you know the reason for the mission"
Hearing this Boruto tensed before slightly relaxing and smiling before saying "I understand, I shall leave tomorrow at the sight of first light"
Sarada through the whole conversation was silent, "What could be so important that he was to leave again?" Thought Sarada
Everyone at the table were talking and making jokes and laughing then Sarada held Borutos hand, Boruto turned to Sarada and looked at her asking what was wrong to which Sarada answers with a question of her own, "what's this mission that your going on?" Boruto smiled at her and said "it's a surprise, you'll just have to wait till I come back"
Sarada was slightly annoyed at his answer but decided that it'll have to do so she smiled back and leaned on his shoulder and quietly said "please come back safe and sound"
"I can't promise you that I'll come back in scratches but I'll certainly come back with my heart beating" Replied Boruto
"That's all I ask" responded Sarada

The sun was peeking over the horizon giving the early morning sky it's beautiful light blue colour, the suns rays reflecting off of the morning dew giving everything around and in the village a shine
Boruto was standing at the Western gate, the Hokage and his sensei with his to see him off, everyone else was asleep, Boruto's family had said their good byes the night before and Yumi before she went to sleep and he had talked with his fiancée the whole night before reassuring her that he will be fine, last two pole to say their farewells were standing in front of them
"Be careful out their son, if things go out of hand or your able to finish early come home as soon as possible" Said Naruto before hugging his son
Sasuke stepped forward and said "Boruto no matter how this goes out I'm proud to have taught you what you know, and know that you will always be the son that I never had and I'm proud to call you my son by everything but blood" Boruto was expecting his sensei to poke his forehead but was shocked when he hugged him, a moment later Boruto hugged back
Boruto didn't say anything my his eyes said it all, the worry if the two fathers hearts disappeared, they smiled and nodded at him, Boruto activating his joûgan created a portal and stepped though
Sun rose over the horizon and the portal disappeared, the two fathers stood there for a minute then turned back to the village and began walking back to their houses to get some sleep before they begin their work

Well here's the new chapter
And just so you guys know I'm writing a new story called 'Alone', I don't know how far I will write it but let's see how successful it is, shall we?
