You should all know the story of Harry Potter, so I'm going to keep this short.
The Dursleys are a family they lives in England. Mrs. Dursley is embarrassed, because her sister is Mrs. Potter, married to Mr. Potter, and they have a one-year-old son named Harry.
One night, Albus Dumbledore arrives on the Dursleys' street with a cat, Professor Mcgonagall. They talk about how You-Know-Who, or Voldemort, dissappeared. Voldemort killed the Potter parents, but was not able to kill Harry. Also, Voldemort's power began to go away when he failed to kill Harry. Dumbledore tells Mcgonagall that this is the only family that can care for Harry. Hagrid came and carried Harry in a bundle of blankets. They put him on the Dursley's doorstep with a letter that explains everything.
