Don't

Don't tell her
that you're loyal,
if you can't
predict the future.
Don't tell her
you'll be petrified
when she leaves,
if you'll be
the one who
will first.

Don't say that
you miss her
when you're with
someone else.
Don't say that
you are sorry
when you'll still
do it again.
Don't say that
it's excruciating to
see her go,
Because you don't know
how it feels
when she's the one
who will do so.

Think twice to
say things to her.
She is fragile,
sensitive, and somehow,
hopeful.
Think twice in
making a promise
to her,
if you, yourself,
is still not
even sure
if you can
apply it to
this destitute reality.

Why?
Because you don't know
how it feels to be
in her place.
To be hurt
while you're happy,
To feel like dying
when you're lively.

Think twice about
the consequences of
your' actions.
So don't tell her
that you love her,
If you know
that it'll just
fade away someday
like a bubble
popped by rain.
