High-School AU
An AU (alternate universe) where Eran and Riley are high school students.
Eran is a grade 12 transfer student who has returned to the area after 6 years away. Only a few people remember the ruthlessly honest and snobby elementary schooler, like his fellow outcast, Elias. But most people see the pretty high schooler and expect a princely character. Then coldness they get instead turns Eran into an outcast again, but he doesn't mind.
Grade 10 Riley is known for being smart, atheletic, and tall. He's popular but not particularly happy about it. Girls want to date him but after being cheated on the year before, he's lost his faith in relationships with women.
When Riley spots Eran, he falls head over heels in love at first sight. But Eran isn't taking any crap from an underclassman, no matter their frustrating height gap.
Standard comedic S/M, tsundere/deredere relationship ensues.

Eran: Why are you staring at me? 😒
Riley: Uh, I... want to be friends? 😅
Eran: Friends? I can literally hear your heart beating.
Riley: 😳 *runs away screaming in embarrassment*

Eran: Is that my gym shirt, punk?! 😠
Riley: I didn't take it! It fell out of your bag! 😨
Eran: *stepping on Riley* That's bull, you pervert! 👿
Riley: Kyaa! *secretly likes it* ☺
Elias: Uh... 😕 Eran, I found your notebooks all over the floor... 😑 What are you doing?

*Eran riding his bike the street*
Eran: Is this your house? Why are you sitting on the curb?
Riley: My dad apparently left on another trip. And I left my keys in the house. 😅
Eran: Don't you have friends you can stay with? You're popular aren't you?
Riley: Jay is my only real friend, but he's already done a lot for me... 😅
Eran: Stop pretending not to care. 😕
Riley: 😳 ...What?
Eran: ... 😐 *gets off bike* Take me home.
Riley: 😯
Eran: 😒 H-have you eaten? *blushes*
