Thank you all for your congratulations on reaching 50k! You all made it possible. It's also awesome that you had questions to ask. So here they are with my answers and cute gifs.

no-named-monster asks: From where did you get the idea and inspiration for this book?

There was a long period of time during which I wasn't writing. My last story had been a romance about a 17 year old boy and a 23 year old girl. I only wrote the first few chapters. Most of my reading was yaoi and shounen-ai. One day I felt creative and started brainstorming ideas for stories. While brainstorming, I realized that I could write about two guys. (Ignore the doodle of a pianist or whatever.)

I created a character chart to detail more about the characters.

Then the ideas kept pouring in, so what was supposed to be a short idea in a sentence or two grew into several scenes (Riley finding out about Jamee, them meeting in the park, Eran picking Riley up from the club...) I can't tell how many scenes I wrote in one sitting, because suddenly my handwriting gets neater which is usually an indication I took a break... but it's in the middle of a paragraph and so I'm not sure. Either way, the ideas started to pour in so I wrote them all down.
