Your P.O.V

You tied the third garbage bag filled with things to give away or to throw and put it aside. 

You took a deep breathe and entered the last room left for cleaning. You started with the bed taking off the sheets and replacing them with a new one. 

The nightstands were an absolute mess. You were going through the drawers throwing away things you don't need. You reached the last drawer, the one you always use to storage just any random things.

You opened the drawer looking at all the magazines from like ten years ago that you kept. You started digging in when you touched something hard.

You took it out to see that it was a box with the year you graduated high school engraved in.

You opened the box looking at all the pictures but one caught your eye.

It was a picture of you and Niall at your senior prom. You still remember that day so vividly. 

/flashback/

You finished your hair and makeup and got into the prom dress that you've saved up for months.

It was a beautiful baby blue dress with little details all over it. It was breathtaking. 

''Y/N'' your mom called. 

''Look who's here'' she said coming into your room.

''You look beautiful, darling.'' she smiled with her eyes tearing up a little.

''Thank you, mom. I love you.'' you said giving her a kiss.

You walked downstairs to see Niall standing there with his hair in a little quiff and wearing a dark blue suit to match you.

He looked gorgeous.

''Hi'' you smiled shyly.

''Wow- y/n you-you look beautiful.'' He stuttered

''You look very handsome too.'' You smiled.

''I do, don't I? You ready to go, love?'' He asked with that foolish little smirk on his beautiful face.

''Let's go, Horan.''

''Y/N, I'm home!'' You heard Niall call from downstairs.

''In here'' you said back.

''Wow you really did clean the whole house, didn't ya'' He said looking around the room.

''Yeah I had nothing to do so.'' 

''You could've waited for me, baby girl. You didn't have to do it alone,'' he said giving you a sweet kiss.

''I love you so much, my princess.'' He said admiring you.

''I love you, baby boy.''
