I leave to the back and out to a balcony of a motel. Lighting up and puffing in mist. My eyes scan to make sure the coast is clear. Empty streets stare back at me. '"Hey." A voice comes from behind. "You up for this?" It was Darius, who zips his jacket.

"Yeah, it's gonna go smooth."

"Well, we don't know this hood...this isn't Brooklyn, no telling what these guys are cooking." His brown eyes sweep the streets, as he stands beside me. "Just be alert is alls I'm saying. And If it's too close, no one will judge you if you fold."
