I DON'T have enough sleep. Pero dahil sa ingay mula sa labas ay naalipungatan ako. I grabbed the pillow and covered it on my ears. I hope it stopped but the sound became louder and rougher. Grumpy, I looked around to check the time. The wall clock seemed not working. I grabbed my bag and turned on my cell phone to check the time. Goodness gracious, it's six in the morning.
Who could be that person who would be waked up, very early just to create such annoying sound?
Tinanggal ko sa pagkaka-tack in ang kulambo. Marahas na hinawi ang kurtina at binuksan ang bintana. I am in the verge of spitting fire on my mouth but I did not when I saw who it could be. Shawn is there working without a shirt on, so very early, putting note he drove for about long hours. Among the two of us he should be the tired one, but hey I wasn't informed that he is a morning person.
His fair skin glowed under the healthy heat of the sun. My mouth shaped O at that twin dimples on his thigh. This man didn't mind if he got naked because he didn't use belt for his tattered jeans. It's slipping, goodness. I think he doesn't mind too, no one's gonna see him though except with me. What's wrong with me? I can't take my eyes of him. His goddamn every muscles on his body flexed each time he swings the looking heavy ax.

Then his eyes found mind. He stopped from what he is doing and put the ax on the side. "Good morning, Sunshine," he greeted without looking at me. He took the towel on the tree and used it to dry his body.
I cleared my throat. "Did you sleep, Shawn?"
"Oo naman." Tinuro nito ako. "Katabi mo," dugtong niya.
"I don't think so."
Tumawa siya. "Humihilik ka pa nga."
"What? Liar."
Muli siyang lumapit sa axe. Binuhat niya iyon at naglakad palapit sa akin. He crouched so he can level my sight. He playfully grinned. "You smells jasmine, baby. What can you say 'bout that?"
My eyes widened. That's the body wash I used. The same scent for my hair conditioner too. I smirked. "I won't believe you."
He didn't stomp down. He still had that grin on his face when he leaned his left hands on the frame of the wooden window. "Huwag kang mag-alala mamaya. Tatabihan kita. Sa paanong paraan mo ba gusto? Mula sa likod, sa ibabaw?"
Sinubukan ko siyang abutin upang masabunutan. He is getting naughty now. Strange, I felt him changed from the one I know. Is this the effect of his new hair cut? "Ibabaw your face!"
