Mom bought John three apples.
He ate one.
He gave another to his sister.
Then they took him to war.
There, he killed people he had never seen before in his life.
His best friend was wounded.
They teased him when he refused to rape an old woman.
A few months later he returned home and no longer wanted to do anything.
He began to drink too much which lead to the visits to the psychologist.
One day, when John returned from therapy, he sat on the bed wrapped in his thoughts and ate another apple.
How many apples does John have left?
