'What happened, Joshua told me. He's been calling you but you aren't answering.' I asked Anulika when I got to hostel. She looked depressed, 'Tobe is threatening me again. What is his problem sef. Fiyin said and left while I turned to see Jidenna actually looking at me and I blushed until I saw Esosa coming and then she sat on his laps and kissed the corner of his mouth while he continued looking at me. Is this a school at all. But looking around,other people were doing much worse. You are just jealous, Kaima. I looked away and then I saw Fiyin talking to a junior girl. What happened to my fruit punch. I shook my head and went to get one myself. I got to the refreshments table and picked a red cup as I was about to pour the punch,someone mistakenly hit me and the drink pour on the table. I should have just taken water. I picked a bottle of water and turned to go when I bumped into Tobe. 'Sorry' he mumbled and continued going while I remembered Anulika. Maybe I can talk to him. 'Em Tobe, can I talk to you for a minute' I asked and he turned back raising a brow before he nodded, ' outside. This place is a little noisy.' I said and he nodded again before leading the way. 'What?' He asked as we stepped outside,the breeze chilly.' Can I please beg you not to bother Anulika again. She hasn't done anything to you. I mean you didn't even at least say a happy birthday to her and you expect her to stay with you and you are even threatening her with the so called nudes. Thats very shallow honestly. Jidenna said and Tobe left grumbling while I was having trouble trying to prevent my mouth from visiting the floor. Did Jidenna just defend me. 'Why did you help me. Oh yeah, you are my classmate and house prefect right. Wait were you eavesdropping.' I asked and he just stared at me.'you have a unique way of saying thank you.' Jidenna said. 'Thank you' I said sighing, 'you need to be careful with drunk boys. Don't think nothing can happen in a school,if you must know someone has gotten pregnant before but the authorities didn't find out before she flushed it or else they would have stopped this so called social night that's just an excuse for hormonal boys and girls to drink and have fun. Fiyin is an idiot, isn't he your scort. he's supposed to protect you from these type of things.' Aren't you supposed to be drinking and having fun with your girlfriend. She might be waiting.' It was the longest conversation we ever had and I was glad because I could stare at his face without him thinking I'm stalking him. Kaima,you can see you are not normal' You'll be reminded. At least she claims you were good so just need to freshing up your memory. Just promise you'll try.' He said while I stared at his eyes a mixture of blue and brown that had me nodding to his request like a voodoo doll.
