"Oh come on Snow! Can you at least put on some real music?" Josh whines.

"Awe does Joshy not like One Direction?" I say laughing.
"No! Don't call me that!" He shouts.
"Okay well I guess we can change the music, I don't like this anyway, I was only doing it to torture you." I pick up my phone again and go through the artists. I scroll to Sleeping With Sirens, I give an excited shriek when Stomach Tied in Knots plays first. I start singing right away,
"Oh, my stomachs tied in knots
I'm afraid of what I'll find if you wanna talk tonight
ooh ooh
See the problem isn't you, it's me I know
I can tell I've seen it time after time
and I'll push you away
I get so afraid
and I can't live without you now
oh-oh
I can't even live with myself
oh-oh-oh
and I can't live without you now
oh-oh
and I don't want nobody else
oh-oh-oh"

"You actually listen to this?" He says bringing me out of my moment.
"Um yeah... Do you not like this?" He shakes his head saying, "I love Sleeping With Sirens, I just didn't think you listened to this type of music."
"Why?" I question.
"I don't know, you just seem like the Katy Perry type of girl..." He shrugs.
"I like pretty much everything, but punk rock is by far my favorite." I say looking out the window. Honestly, I'm a little upset that he takes me as one of those girls, but then again it's not surprising.
"What else do you listen to?" He asks.
"Pierce the Veil... Black Veil Brides, Three Days Grace.. but my favorite bands are Greenday and Nickleback... I love them."
"Oh wow... That's awesome, I love all those." I just simply nod my head. "Well anyway... Do you have any idea what you want to do while we are in town?"
"I don't know... I basically just want to find out where some places are." He nods.
"We can do that." The rest of the ride is silent. Finally, we pull into a random parking lot and decide to walk from here. We spend a couple hours just walking around the town while he shows me all the shops and stuff. There was one point where I asked him where the library was, he laughed before showing me. By the end of they day we are both tired and sitting on a bench resting a bit.
"So... um.. There's this bonfire tonight.. I was wondering if maybe wanted to go? I mean not like a date or anything I just thought you might want to meet some people before school starts, I don't want you to think it's like a date or anything because that would be stupid and I just-"
"JOSH! It's fine, That would be great and It won't be a date." I say, cutting off his rambling. I'm surprised that he got so flustered asking me to go to the bonfire with him. I think its funny how he thought I would think he was asking me out. I know he doesn't like me like that.
"Okay, well it's in two hours, so I'll take you home so you can get ready. I nod and stand up, stretching a bit. He does too, and then we both start walking to the car. We walk pretty close since its dark, and then I become aware of just how close our hands are. I pass it off as nothing until I feel his pinkie wrap around mine, and I slightly smile. I wrap my pinkie around his too, and then he very smoothly puts my hand in his. In that moment, it registers in my mind that we are holding hands. My brain becomes mush and a slight blush forms on my cheeks. I don't say anything in fear of ruining the moment. So that's how we walk to the car: in silence with our hands interlocked
