It had been three weeks and it was safe to say me and Jonah were on a friend level. Only no one but Daniel knew of this which was fine we had actually begun talking more in the common room he even got to know Zach more. Daniel of course not Jonah. I was walking out of potions with professor Snape along side Hermione talking about our upcoming OWLS when I noticed Jonah and Daniel sat on a bench near the far end of the court-side away from everyone. "I'll actually catch up with you later Hermione I have to go meet Luna in the forbidden forest" "Oh okay be careful wouldn't want what happened to Zach to you know.... happen to you" "I will thanks" I said giving her a brief hug. I walked towards the two boys making sure no one was watching me before sneaking up behind Jonah who's back was facing me. I put my finger up to my lip signalling for Daniel to not speak. "Don't even think about it y/l/n" Jonah's melodious voice spoke. "How'd you know?" "I know everything" "That's so not true" I argued going to give Daniel a quick friendly hug like I did with all my friends except Jonah. "Is so" "Whatever" I rolled my eyes. "You two bicker like an old married couple" "But obviously a very attractive one wouldn't you say" Jonah said striking a silly pose causing me to laugh and scrunch my nose at the same time. "Definitely" Daniel playfully pushed me. "So where are you off to?" Daniel asked. "To the forbidden forest to meet up with a friend" "A friend? Is it Zach?" Jonah asked annoyance evident in his voice. "No Luna actually" "She's cute" Daniel bluntly stated. "I can hook you up Seavey" I playfully pushed him back the way he did to me earlier. "Plus if it was Zach what's the problem in that?" I asked going back to Jonah. "I just don't like him" "And why don't you like my best friend Marais" I questioned calling him by his last name something I haven't done in three weeks. This clearly took him by surprise to since his eyebrows raised quickly. "He's just annoying" "He's not annoying you just don't know him" "All I have to know is he's a Hufflepuff which makes him annoying" he said harshly both mine and Daniels faces turning to shock. Jonah's eyes widened once he realized what he had just said. "If we're so annoying we'll just go" I said taking Daniels hand and dragging him with me. "Wait y/n!" I heard his voice shout after us. The scene probably confusing to everyone in the courtyard who had never seen us even interact.
"Where are we going?" Daniel whispered to me quietly. "To the forbidden forest" I mumbled back passing hagrids hut on the way there. We continued to walk in silence till we found Luna feeding a thestral. "Woah what is it?" Daniel asked from behind me his voice startling Luna. "A thestral" I said greeting Luna with a smile and friendly hug and greeting the thestral with a pat on the head. I formally introduced the two watching them engage in a conversation about the animal Daniel very curious as to what they were. I smiled at the two before walking off to the side wondering why Jonah had such a sudden outburst. "Y/n we're gonna go deeper into the woods are you coming?" Luna's soft voice questioned. "Uh yeah go ahead I'll um catch up right now" I smiled politely. The two smiled I quickly sent Daniel a wink causing him to playfully roll his eyes at me. I decided to take a seat on a branch examining my wand really taking in the patterns engraved into it. Suddenly I heard footsteps coming closer. "Luna? Daniel?" I questioned fear slightly taking over me. "It's just me" his familiar voice spoke as he came out from behind a tree. "What do you want?" I scoffed jumping off the branch. "Please don't go" "Well to kinda have to I wouldn't want to annoy you" I said starting to walk off. "Wait I didn't mean what I said you know I didn't" "Then Why would you say it in the first place?" "Cause I'm a jackass and an asshole and cause...... I like you" he confessed leaving me standing in shock. "Well you can't just go around calling people annoying like that Marais" I said turning away from him my heart beating out of my chest. "I know but I just I thought you liked Zach but judging by what you smelled in the amortentia potion today I don't doubt that you like me too" "And how do you know what I did in potions today let alone what I smelled an amortentia potion" "I told you I know everything" "Jack told you didn't he" I questioned knowing he was one of the gryffindors in my class today. "Yeah" "So how does that explained how you know what I smelled?" "Hermione told me that" "Did she really?" I asked cocking a brow at him. "Okay she told Jack after he begged" "In return for?" "A date to Slughorns Party" "Fair enough" "So you do like me then" Jonah asked hope gleaming in his eyes. "So what if I do Jonah it's not like we can do anything about it" I argued crossing my arms as I leaned back into the brace I was sat on previously. "What do you mean by that" "I mean your a Slytherin I'm a Hufflepuff and that's that" "What does that have to do with anything?" "Well for starters it would ruin your image" "I don't care about that" he said getting closer. "My friends would kill me" I said softer. "You shouldn't care either" "Your parents are pure blood Slytherins" I whispered in a hush voice causing him to stop in his tracks knowing I was right. "I-I dont care" he stuttered out staring deep into my eyes. "I don't care" he repeated more confidently. "Do you care? Please tell me you don't care" he whispered getting as close as he could to me till our noses were touching. "I don't care" I whispered wanting to desperately feel his lips on mine. In a second his lips were molding perfectly together with mine. All my worries floating away for a brief second till I heard a twig crack. I jumped away immediately to see Luna and Daniel standing there. "We um got worried cause you weren't coming" "Oh" I mumbled looking at Jonah. "We're um together now" Jonah stated. "Congrats bro" Daniel said breaking into a smile as he bro hugged Jonah. "Thanks man and I'm sorry about earlier" "It's cool" I looked at Luna to see her lightly smiling at me. "Hey you" "Hey" she said frowning. "What's wrong Luna" "Zach and Ginny aren't gonna like this" "I know" I mumbled back knowing I was gonna have to find a way to tell them.

Hey guys so that's the end of this part I don't know if you guys want a part 3 so please let me know about that. Also it's been so long. I'm current on break an have like 5 more days off and I have been writing. I have a Daniel imagine I want to put out that's done and I have a Jack one ready for thanksgiving for thank giving tomorrow so be ready to read. Also I finally watched Fantastic Beast: The Crimes Of Grindlewald yesterday and it was so fuckin good. My mom was kind enough to buy me the popcorn bucket of the movie and I cried near the end so comment if you've watched that. I'm also in love with Theseus but that's beside the point. The real point here is I was dead. Finally please tell me you guys heard the boys cover of Feliz Navidad cause I was shook as fuck about that. I made my mom and best friend listen to it. Mom enjoyed it to an extent. My best friend criticised the spanish parts here and there but overall thought it was good and yeah I went to Walmart yesterday after the movie and got a few goodies aka makeup which was nice and yeah there's my life update. So far thanksgiving break has been good mainly cause I've been catching up on sleep so funnn. I'll also be writing more tonight probably so yeah.
