Bad Influence//Daniel Seavey

I was currently in the Why Don't We house scrolling through Instagram when I felt the seat beside me dip. "Hey y/n" Daniel said beside me smiling. "Hey Danny boy what's up" "Nothing much anyways I was thinking that me and you could go out later you know just the two of us." He said showing that toothy grin I love. "Daniel Seavey if this is another one of your stupid attempts of asking me out on a date the answer is again no" I said getting up and walking towards my bag quickly picking it up heading towards the door. "Whoa where you going so soon y/n/n?" Jonah said stopping me at the door. "Home" "Why?" "Y/n please don't go I'll stop" I turned around to look at the pleading face he was giving me. "Fine" I said putting my bag down" "Ah y/n there you are" Jacks said walking downstairs towards us. "We still going later" "Yeah I already set up the appointment" "Appointment for what?" "Me and y/n are getting new tattoos" Jack said smiling at Daniel. "Oh" "I'm still thinking what I should get though something that'll compliment my collarbone" I said pulling down my shirt showing them where I wanted the tattoo" "I think you should get some birds" Daniel said. "Daniel it has to be meaningful." "Get 5 birds one for each of us" he said making me crack a smile. "Yeah okay then I'll get Jonah's face tattooed on my ass while I'm at it" I said making us all laugh as we walked into the living room. "Okay well ima go get dressed I'll be back in 20" "You can say 20 all you want Avery we all know your really gonna take 40" "You know me so well y/n/n" he said running upstairs. "And there's Jonah, Daniel, and y/n sitting casually on the couch" I heard Corbyn say as he walked in Zach hot on his trail. "Beannnn!!!!" I yelled. "Y/N/N!!!!" He yelled back. "It's only cute when I do it" I said making him chuckle. "Well I'll be right back I gotta go make a call" I said walking to the backyard. I quickly pulled out the cigarettes from my pocket lighting one in the corner of the yard where no one was able to see me. I inhaled each breath as if it were the last. I knew I shouldn't have been doing this. I promised them. I told them I would stop. They're my best friends and I lied to them all of them. I've lied to Daniel the most pretending I'm not interested when in reality I'm head over heels for him. But I don't deserved him not now not ever. "Y/n?" I heard that soft voice I knew too well. "Daniel" my head whipped around his eyes filled with sadness. "I can explain" suddenly his eyes flickered to my arm he was staring at something but I wasn't sure if it was the tattooed star on it or if he was just spaced out. "I want in" he said looking back at me straight in the eyes. I looked at his face in confusion as he slowly walked towards me just as he reached for the toxic stick in my hand I came to reality. "No" I said pulling it back. "Why not?" He said reaching for it once more which only made me angrier that he was even thinking of this. "Daniel James Seavey do you even realize what your asking for" "A cigarette I wanna smoke" "No you don't Daniel what's wrong?" I asked him. The anger I had turning into concern. "Nothing I just wanna try" before he could reach out for it. I dropped it stomping on it like if me merely doing the action would save the human race. He looked at me in shock but I only did what came to mind. I hugged him to which he gladly accepted. "What's going on back here" Zach said looking at us but once he smelled what had just happened he didn't think twice about going to tell the boys. In less than 2 minutes all the boys came running all either with shocked or hurt expressions on their faces. "You promised" Corbyn said. "I know it's just" "And now you got Daniel to do it. Do you even know how bad that is?" Jonah said. "No wai" "I can't believe you would even" "No guys it's not like that" Daniel tried to explain. "Y/n you can't just go being a bad influence on other people like that" Jack said. Anger boiled in me. They knew. They all knew what my life was before I had met them. I could hear my moms voice ringing in my head telling me how much of a disappointment a bad influence a terrible daughter I was. I quickly blinked away the tear before bursting. "OH PLEASE AVERY LIKE YOUR ANY BETTER! YOUR NOT A FUCKIN ANGLE! I REMEMBER WHEN WE FIRST MET WE WOULD SMOKE WEED FOR HOURS IN MY ROOM! DO ALL SORTS OF SHIT! WE WOULD GET SO HIGH WE WOULDN'T REMEMBER WHAT THE HELL HAD HAPPENED!" Everyone looked at me shock by my sudden outburst "If I'm such a bad influence I'll just go." I said shoving past them. As I walked I heard them calling my name but I didn't turn back I didn't need them. Before I even reached the door I felt someone grab me by the waist and pull me into the most passionate kiss I've ever had. Their lips smoothly molded together with mine. They were soft and caring. They're minty breath mixed with my smoke filled one. I pulled away knowing who it was I just wish it wasn't him. "Daniel what are you doing?" I asked him in a low voice. "I'm going after the girl I love and no matter how much of a bad influence you think you are that'll never change my feelings about you." "You don't know what the hell your talking about" I said my heart breaking after each word left my mouth" "Do you wanna know why I wanted to smoke. Because of you because I thought the only way I could get you is if I could be what you wanted. But I can be all you want y/n without all the bad stuff because I love you y/n I'm so deeply in love with you it hurts" he said grabbing my hand forcing me to look at him. "I love you too" I said and before I could stop myself I leaned in once more capturing his lips not caring what the hell no one not even what the boys thought of me. I didn't need all the bad stuff I thought as Daniel started back me up against the wall his hands freely roaming my body. "What going on here?" We heard a voice say. We both pulled away to see Jack and the other boys behind him. "Nothi" "I'm kissing MY GIRLFRIEND what do you want" Daniel said emphasizing those words as he looked at them. "We just wanted to apologise we shouldn't have made you feel like that y/n we should've known. I as your best friend should have known it wasn't right" Jack said looking down. "I shouldn't have don't it in the first place" I said pulling away from Daniels grip. "I promised you guys and I let you down" I said hugging Jack. I should've known what I started cause within seconds the boys were around the two of us suffocating us. "I love group hugs" I heard Zach say making us erupt in laughter. "Me too Zachy" I said as well all pulled away. "Hey it's almost 5:00 we should go get our tattoos. You guys coming?" "Yup" and "Yeahs" were exchanged as we all headed towards the door but as everyone exited I pulled Daniel back into the house quickly. "So girlfriend huh?" "Yup" he said smiling god damn that smile. "You got a problem with it?" "Nope no problem here Mr Bad Boy" I said teasing him. As we walked out the door closing it behind us he intertwined our fingers smiling down at me. "You know I was think of maybe getting my first tattoo today any suggestions?" he said looking down at me. "How about a bird" I said making him chuckle. "Will you be getting a matching one" "nope I'll be getting 5." I said as we reached the van to see everyone pack in already. Daniel quickly pulled me into a kiss before jumping into the passenger seat. "Are you guys gonna be doing all the time now?" Zach groaned. "I think it's cute" "Thanks bean" I said leaning into him. "Your welcome y/n/n" he said pushing me away playfully.
