Kate's POV

I walked into Taylor's room, Marley was sleeping on his bed. I walked up to her and nudged her, she didn't even flinch. Then I decided to poke her stomach, but even that didn't work.

"Marley! wake the hell up, I know you can feel me poking you! But you have to wake up,"

Marley didn't move a muscle, I tried on more time to nudge her.

"TAYLOR! TAYLOR! TAYLOR!" I screamed

Taylor came running into the room, "What?!" he exclaimed

"She's not moving and she's not breathing," I said

"Wait...WHAT?!" He yelled

He ran up to the bed and felt her chest, he turned to me, "She's not breathing!"

"I know, I told you! Call an ambulance!" I shouted

Taylor ran out of the room, and grabbed his phone.

"Yes, hi this Taylor Caniff. I'm calling because I tried to wake up my girlfriend and she's not breathing," He said

"Yes, that's right. Were at 1143 41st street Manhattan, in apartment 5B."

He hung up the phone, "They're sending an ambulance. But I don't understand what happened."

"Neither do I,"

••••••••••

Sitting in the same waiting room as we did when the crash happened was terrible. Taylor and I sat there waiting for the doctor to talk to us about what happened.

"Taylor and Kate, I can speak with you now," Dr. Nichols said

She lead us into a small room, and gestured for us to sit down.

"Okay, first things first, did Marley have any recent injuries like falling or banging her head?" She asked

I shook my head, But Taylor spoke, "Yeah, the other night her and I were just playing around. She hit me in the eye and it started to water so I was running after her and she hid in the bathroom. I didn't know she was leaning on the door and I pulled it open. She feel onto the tile floor and she was complaining that it hurt. But she never said it was bad." He said

"Okay, thank you." Dr Nichols said, "After the car crash, she suffered a lot of trauma to her head which ultimately lead to the coma. And even the slightest injuries to her head can cause problems."

"So, is she okay?" I asked

"Yes, dear she's okay but we will keep her for a day or two and then send her home. But she has to be very careful." The doctor said, she brushed her hair out of her face and took a deep breathe. "You can go see her if you want, a nurse will take you upstairs. But she will be in pain and she might be a little confused and hazy."

We nodded and followed a nurse upstairs.
