"How did this happen."

The four was in alarics room, stefan pacing, Damon and macy leaning on alarics desk and Elena stood by the window, sadly they got the news off Damon that Caroline is now a vampire

"Well I fed her blood and Katherine obviously killed her and a plus b equals." Damon said

"All she Said was game on? I would've come up with a better comeback." Macy said as Elena ignored her comment

"Why." Elena said looking at Damon

"Because Katherine is a manipulative, nasty little slut." Damon said smirking

"What does game on even mean?" Stefan asked Damon crossing his arms

"It means she's playing dirty and wants you to know." Macy said raising her eyebrows

"But why Caroline?"  Elena asked

"Easy target?" Macy said as Stefan shook his head

"She must be out of her mind, she has no idea what's happening to her." Stefan said putting his hands behind his head, like stretching

"Oh, I think she does, all of my compulsion from the past started wearing off the minute she was in transition." Damon said

"Well we have to find her." Stefan said heading towards the door

"Yep, and kill her." Damon said making stefans stop and turn around

"Your not going to kill Caroline" Elena said finally talking

Damon shrugged his shoulders "She's knows who we are and is now a liability, we gotta get rid of her" Stefan shook his head and sat on the window ledge by Elena, who looked at him for support

Macy just rolled her eyes

"Damon absolutely not." Stefan said rubbing elenas shoulder

"May I remind you of a tragic little story of a girl named vicki Donovan?" Damon said

"Matt had a sister?" Macy questioned as Elena nod her head

" she was killed, because she couldn't make it as a vampire like Caroline who also won't make it as a vampire." Damon said turning his head to speak to Macy

"Her mother is a vampire hunter, we all know how this story ends, so let's flip to the last chapter and." Damon was cut off

"It's not an option Damon." Elena said shaking her head

"No?" Damon questioned turning to Stefan

"You silence is deafening stefan, wasn't there a school carnival the night you staked vicki, talk about a town where history repeats itself" Damon said as Macy scoffed

"What's the matter with you raven?" Damon said as he turned to face the girl who got up from leaning on the desk to face the group crossing her arms

"It's Elena's friend Damon, you can just come in here and kill whoever you like."

Damon rolled his eyes "coming for the girl who didn't care about anyone or anything a week ago, might I mention the little hobby of yours."

"She's a newly turned vampire Damon, with the right people around her, the right blood substitutes and the right encouragement, she can be one of the good guys" Macy said

"I've let vampire live before because what they were doing to help the world, not kill it"

Stefan got up and walked to the door but stopped at Damon  "We are not going to kill her."  He said and walked out of the class room, Elena not far behind

"For god sake Damon, why do you want to kill everybody." Macy said as Damon got up and walked passed her, Macy followed

"I'm just trying to save her from a world of hate and trying to get vampires found out by everyone." Damon and Macy made it outside and started walking around the carnival, both looking for Caroline, just as Macy turned her back Damon was gone

Macy rolled her eyes and continued to look for Caroline.

Suddenly she saw Elena back going into a closed off entrance so Macy ran dodging her way through the crowd.

As she got there, Elena and Stefan was trying to pull Caroline to the bathroom, which was behind them. Macy looked at the scene, Damon was stood by a stake, eyeing it up, Caroline face was covered in blood and next too all of them was they boy Damon compelled, chest not moving.

"Hes dead." Macy mumbled as she came closer to them all. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Damon look between the stake and Caroline, Macy knew what he was about to do.

Macy ran up and placed herself in front of Caroline, just a second before Damon was about to stab her, Macy and Damon looked into each other's eyes

"Damon." Macy said, she not daring to take her eyes of Damon

"She killed someone Macy, you should want to kill her as much as me" Damon muttered through gritted teeth

"You kill people and I don't want to kill you" Macy replied

"It's on you." Damon said putting the stake down as Macy turned around, helping Stefan get Caroline into the toilets, once she was there Macy come back out to Damon on the floor and fire just coming to him

"Everything that happens is his fault Elena." Macy looked at Bonnie, who had tears streaming doing her face, watching as the fire got nearer.

"Bonnie, stop it, bonnie" Elena shouted "your going to kill him."

Just as Damon caught on fire and started shouting Macy ran up to Bonnie and stood in front of her shaking her and the fire died down

"Macy why did you stop me." Bonnie said through gritted teeth, Elena ran over and put her hands on Bonnies shoulder

"Bonnie this not us, Bonnie this can't be us." Elena hugged Bonnie as she watched Damon in pain taking Bonnie away from the scene.

Macy took her jacket off and put it over Damon's legs to cover down the rest of the fire.

"Let's  not piss off the Bennett witch." Macy said after the fire was put out chucking the jacket on the floor

"You owe me a jacket." Macy said even though that was her least favourite leather one anyway

Damon coughed and macy with all her strength help him up to his feet.

"Do you want a ride home." Macy asked as Damon leant on her for support as his legs were still sore

"Sure." Damon said as Macy rolled her eyes, both of them walking to her car " I ran here." Damon smirked as they both got into the car
